If you’re trying to build your physique, lose fat, or simply improve your cognitive and physical performance, not to mention increase your work capacity, and you’re doing anything remotely close to low-carb, you are sabotaging yourself.
Intermittent fasting is absolute garbage. You’re just using the clock to reduce your calorie intake and simultaneously torpedoing your metabolic health and performance.
Keto, outside of those who’ve made the prior commitment to becoming metabolically fluid, is absolute garbage.
And anything low-carb outside of those with severe metabolic disorders or insulin resistance is absolute garbage as well.
Carbohydrates are the cleanest fuel you can run on.
Carbs refill muscle glycogen, which is what actually powers a hard training session, and they keep your central nervous system fed so your output in the gym and your output at work both stay sharp.
Fat and ketones can keep you alive. Carbs let you perform.
Eat more carbohydrates. Time your macros properly. But don’t deprive yourself of the finest form of energy you can feed yourself with.

Here's the deal. The frat bros are fun and kind but boring and you want to gnaw your arm off. There is a place for that, such as when you want to do things outdoors or athletics. The nerds and misfits are way more interesting but high variance. Many are masochistic or antisocial and have terrible life skills.

Martial arts are to a guy, what ballet is to a girl in that there’s a certain level that develops immensely good qualities, however if allowed to progress too much creates near irredeemably bad traits. You want your boys to learn grit and how to fight, and you want your daughters to learn grace and strength. But you also don’t want your son to become a jujitsu weeb or your daughter to develop a horrific eating disorder. One of the many double-edged swords of parenting.

as i get older i realize the biggest epidemic is dudes with no real identity if running gets cool they become runners. if tattoos get cool they cover themselves in tattoos. if being sober trends they become born again monks, mullet, coffee snob, golfer, carnivore, cowboy, whatever the algorithm tells them whole personality built out of social contagion thats why these dudes get smoked at everything. everyone can smell the fraud no weight behind anything they do because none of it came from their soul. just trend hopping be something real even if its ugly

A man's sexual attraction is often just an involuntary and snap judgment arousal that doesn't necessarily include anything about the woman aside from her physical appearance. A man's romantic attraction includes her other traits AND sexual attraction.
Women feel threatened when a man is sexually attracted to anyone other than her because in her mind it could put her romantic relationship at risk. For the most part this is not the case, it's just testosterone working in his brain.
