Attacks on UN peacekeepers are unacceptable. We condemn the killing of three Indonesian personnel serving with the UN in Lebanon. We extend our sincere condolences to their loved ones, colleagues and to Indonesia. We support Indonesia's calls for a thorough investigation.

Has there ever been a greater carry-on about a minor tax change? Good luck Labor with trying some real - and desperately needed - tax reform! Or any other reform which impacts wealthy Australians? Australia - the land where rorts are sacred!

Australia is well placed and well prepared to deal with the uncertainty we see in the global economy because of the progress that we’ve made together over the course of the past three years. We've got inflation down substantially, real wages are up, unemployment is low, we've got the debt down, interest rates have started to come down already and growth is rebounding solidly in our economy.
