@hunghorn @ReillyRick I know way more than you. That's a fact. Doral is one of the best courses in the world. You idiots just talk through your demented TDS. Not an ounce of self awareness.

Also nothing wrong with pointing out that Scottie only gives a s#it about Scottie. And that’s fine. He is a guy that barely looks like he enjoys the sport. He collects his paycheck and goes home to his wife and children. It’s a job for him. Not a passion. That’s plain yo see.

People are upset about this? No. 1 player in the world doesn’t have to be the No. 1 talker in the world. He sure as hell doesn’t have to answer questions about LIV minutes after playing a round on the PGA Tour. Nothing wrong with this, at all.

I counseled 3 reviling wives over the past few days who all admitted to me that they were "bitter" towards their husbands - mostly for the same reasons. They all also said they "hate" being bitter. One of them openly repented. One of them is moving towards repentance. One of them doubled down on her bitterness. One of them humbled herself under God's Word. One of them is humbling herself under God's Word. One of them despises God's Word as "culturally conditioned." (she is bitter b/c her husband doesn't make her happy). For all the bitter women out there (and there are a lot of you), which one do you aspire to be?

@jamierkennedy Spieth shot 7 under, Scottie limped in w 1 under after once being -4. Should be enough said after such a silly question.

What's up with Scottie? Undoubtedly the best golfer in the world but increasingly hostile to the media? He and Jordan asked the same question here (what's next for LIV players, basically). Both asked after their opening rounds at Doral. The difference in their answers...

@jamierkennedy Scotty 100% would not have the records he has if they never left. He know them coming back cuts his winning streaks.

@colepatkinson @MattVincenziPGA @acaseofthegolf1 Ryan reported in writing and verbally on the spaces that LIV Mexico might not happen (it did), that it’s ending was imminent (it’s not), that vendors weren’t paid (they were), that players weren’t paid (they were). When LIV plays in ‘27 which part of caseofthegolf was correct?

1. Have multiple screenshots of employee text conversations. Saying things in Mexico were “hour to hour” from the day I reported it. 1a. Know of other text messages where employees expressed concern about future and Mexico. 1b. Spoke with vendors who confirmed they had outstanding invoices. 2. Know multiple employees were reaching out to people about new jobs 3. Didn't share those things because my concern those could affect peoples employement. 4. Talked to multiple people not associated with people each other, with inside LIV info confirming issues. 5. Spoke with multiple long-time golf journalists to confirm I had enough to report. 6. Def could have handled the tweet and spaces better. Lesson learned. 7. Remember when I shared with you the clip from my pod explaining what I would change and to give context and you said “thanks for sharing”? (I'll share screenshot below in case you forgot) 8. So no I didn't write a huge story, and I could have done better putting it out, but trust me I did reporting and took great care in making sure I had accurate information. And I stand behind that reporting 100% 9. I said the announcement was imminent, and said it was possible Mexico might not happen. (confirmed by other outlets) 10. LIV very litterly just cancelled an event and lost its funding.
Matt Vincenzi@MattVincenziPGA

And I also praised Brody Miller and the other reports that came out in subsequent days. Big difference in reporting. One guy went on a “Twitter spaces” with a bunch of LIV haters and joked about “betting the under” and said the league would be over imminently (which isn’t true). And then the real journalists did investigative reporting. I stand by every word I said.

@karl_inc @acaseofthegolf1 Others had the real report, he heard rumbling. He could have had the story if he went about it the right way, but he didn’t.

Marriage is between a man and a woman, according to Jesus, to become one flesh. And ultimately, according to Genesis, the reason for that is procreation. That's one of the primary reasons for marriage, to bring forth the next generation, to bring forth children.

I'm genuinely curious Why would people accuse a president who has never ONCE lied to the America people, or committed fraud, or done anything unethical Of staging a fake assassination?

Incredible how calm and relaxed President @realDonaldTrump is sounding at this presser, given another would-be assassin just tried to kill him. He is astonishingly resilient.

@Top100Rick You’re casting a bit from the top of your swing, thus preventing weight transfer to the left side. Do the pump/lag drill while doing a slight hip bump to your lead side

Someone fix my swing! Swing tips needed! Headed to a big member event next week. Cannot find a fairway. I’ll take any and all swing analysis. Will work on it on my Trackman. Winning tip gets a prize. Hit 1/14 fairways yesterday. Not miles off, but not good.

Nelly and Patty T is an awesome final group today at the Chevron, but in the group behind her is the player I'm rooting for. Because the money isn't good enough on the women's tour outside of the top 50 players or so, you don't see many grinders in the women's game. Ryann O'Toole is one of them. In a game when women turn pro in their teens and even the best of the best often retire early, O'Toole is 39. Ancient by LPGA standards. For some context, the average age of the rest of the top ten is just 26. She turned pro 17 years ago, and didn't get her first win until 2021 in her 228th start. She is now over 300 career starts. O'Toole has played really solid for years, often keeping her card but never finishing better than 32nd in points. A solid career that if she was on the PGA Tour would mean her would be in the 10's of millions. She has made 4.4 million in her career, spread across 17 years. Take away travel, caddie, agent, and other fees and you see why grinders aren't a thing on the LPGA. Last season for the first time in years she didn't play well, finished 137th in points and lost her full card. At 39, I'd guess there was some thoughts that her outstanding career was over or nearing its end. But O'Toole didn't think that, she went to Q-school, shot a final round 65, the second best round of the day and finished 3rd, easily getting her card back. So far this year she has made 3 of 3 cuts, and now tees off in 3rd place. Unless Nelly stumbles badly, a win is likely out of the question, but a solid weekend will go a long way to locking up O'Toole's card for next season. It would be her 18th season and the grind would continue. Here is to a couple of good ones.
