@GNRailUK thanks you left 1 min early and I couldn’t get on! Usually u can’t get a train to run on time or at all because train drivers can’t be bothered to turn up and now your letting them go early!

@originalfoots @TLRailUK Ok no worries. - Timings wise, the 'core' isn't very forgiving. 2 tracks, loads of Trains! I would imagine the changes were made with capacity in mind. Un/fortunately, changes will always benefit some Passengers and inconvenience others. But yes the FPK interchange isn't great.

@Stewie_32 @TLRailUK That’s what I did the other day. Thank you though. I question the logic of having the train to London Bridge pull out of Finsbury Park, just as the train from eg Stevenage pulls in. Logically you’d expect there to be passengers needing to get to key interchanges eg, London Bridge

@TLRailUK why do you not link your trains up better at Finsbury Park? So frustrating. The one going north to south via Palmers Green arrives just in time to miss Brighton via London Bridge. Pretty obviously people getting off need to get to the major interchange at London Bridge

@originalfoots @TLRailUK If your ticket/routing is valid, could you take a Tube or Train to Kings Cross and walk from there to St. Pancras? There are more frequent services to LBG from there and also trains direct Greenwich...

@TLRailUK Actually last time it got me to the same train as waiting for the Horsham train, admittedly not with the mad dash down the escalator at 4 and up the escalator at 1. A long but easy journey has been made painful. Lots of us used to jump from that train to the Brighton train at FP

@finkyjd @GNRailUK It seems there are 3 Trains available in the early morning. I think the 0615 originates from the disused platform @ KLN and moves over to platform 1. That's Train departure no. 3. First Train arriving from the South is at 0632. So all units are being used (whilst fault persists).

@GNRailUK Issues at depot that mysteriously don’t apply at 615 or 517? Why can’t you just store them at the station of origin? It’s not like there aren’t spare platforms at KLN

@GNRailUK two days in a row you’ve cancelled the 545 KLN-KGX citing issues at depot as the reason. Not great for commuters who’ve already got up v early to make the train. Is this going to be a daily thing? Why can’t we message you via FB or other platforms instead of Twitter?

@verpillot My tongue is always on the roof of my mouth, involuntarily. That’s just where it goes naturally. Is that not true for everyone?

The tongue is the shortest path to the vagus nerve. And every gut protocol currently being sold probiotics, fiber, elimination diets, cold plunges ignores the one muscle that activates the vagus every time it lifts. It's called the palatoglossus. It runs from the side of the tongue up to the soft palate. And it's innervated by the vagus nerve directly. When your tongue rests on the roof of your mouth, the palatoglossus is engaged. That contraction sends a signal up to your brain through the pharyngeal branch of the vagus the same nerve that runs your heart, your lungs, your liver, your stomach, and your colon. Tongue up = vagus active = parasympathetic on. Digestion moves. Inflammation drops. Heart rate variability rises. The body calms. Tongue down, which happens with any mouth breathing means the palatoglossus stays offline for hours at a time. The vagus loses its most constant upstream stimulus. Sympathetic dominance takes over. Gut motility slows. Bloating starts. Sleep thins. Anxiety rises. You can drink every bitter herb on the shelf and still not fix a vagus nerve that isn't being activated from the top. The gut begins at the palate, long before the stomach. In our seminars, we teach practitioners to check tongue position before any gut protocol because everything downstream depends on the signal the tongue is either sending or blocking. posturepro.co/products/cours…

@GT_moonprepper @ReggieMiddleton @Stk_28097 Maybe it leads to people creating their own games and apps for their personal use, not to make money. Those that can't create their own, will purchase the one(s) they like...

@ReggieMiddleton @Stk_28097 This is actually pretty crazy. What will this do to games and app industry. If anyone creates anything, someone else can easily "steal it" and produce their own kind. Won't that kill new ideas since there is no incentive anymore.

@clif_high springwise.com/uncategorized/… clif posted this in 2023. However, previous to that, he posted a video of a Train arriving at a station and someone with bluetooth receiver picking up loads of unnamed MAC addresses as the train approached and stopped. Addresses reduced when Train departed

@CommitteeHart @cfcbenyu @GNRailUK Unless software updates have altered things, it's down to the code manually input. The Train can be run with two operational 1st Class segments. As it can also be run with no 1st Class segments at all.

@cfcbenyu @Stewie_32 @GNRailUK I believe it is linked to the 700 software being set up for declassification of rear first class, so we get a bonus when they use one on a GN service

@GNRailUK Out of curiosity, how does the rear declassified first class work on your services? You often use TL 700s due to being the same company, do they have declassified still when on a GN service and does that equally extend to other rolling stock such as 387/379

YOU have a name, but that’s not you. YOU have an intellect, more or less, and that is not you. YOU have a spirit that has no name, is frequently hard to locate and is not you. YOU have a physical body that others identify with your name. You can always find it because you sit on its ass. IF IF IF ever you realize who you are, you will lose your name, become very much more aware (enlightened), and will change Humanity. Do not seek what you are not prepared to discover.

@Stewie_32 @cfcbenyu Hi there, as advised previously, first-class declassification is route specific, not stock specific. My colleague was advising on what routes usually run with which stock as well as stating what routes run with declassification of first-class. ^Kirsty

@cfcbenyu @GNRailUK I *think* it's something to do with the number of seats a 700 has v's a 387/379 (don't quote me on that), however, as appeasement, the Rear first is declassified on the fewer seated stock (700's).

@Stewie_32 @GNRailUK It does seem silly its stock specific. If I get a kings cross to ely train if its a 700 I can sit there, if its a 379 i can be fined, especially as 700s frequently run to ely. Just needs some consistency. Either don't use the 700s or have all rear declassified

@GNRailUK @cfcbenyu @GNRailUK "usually run by 387s or 379s" By implication, if these services use 700's, you are suggesting the Rear First Class is NOT declassified, when it actually IS. You guys need to make it clear that it is rolling stock specific. Ie. if it's a 700, Rear 1st IS DECLASSIFIED.

Hi Mich. The declassification of first-class is done by routes. Great Northern services between King's Cross and King's Lynn / Cambridge / Peterborough, usually run by 387s or 379s, are not declassified. Great Northern services between Moorgate and Stevenage / Welwyn Garden City, usually run by 717s, do not have first class available. You can have a look at specific services on our timetable page. Look out for the "1" underneath the brand that runs each service: greatnorthernrail.com/service-update… ^Silva

@TLRailUK @GNRailUK When a thameslink class 700 is operating on a great northern service (aay a Kimgs Cross to Cambridge service), does the usual rule of rear first class being declassified still apply.

@amwilson_opera The only answer to this is to ban speakers altogether. This was the norm in past and more civilised times, and nobody then expired from starving their noise addiction so far as I am aware...

You get noise even in the quiet coach (signs need to be larger). Sit anywhere else and it's a free-for-all. But nobody should be blasting out music in *any* carriage. Train companies need to make it clear that all forms of antisocial behaviour are forbidden, throughout the train.
Georgia Mann@MannGeorgia

Hi @SW_Help I have had to twice move seats on your 14.12 service from Waterloo to Shepperton as there are people playing music out of their speakers very loudly. There’s a person in Carriage 10 with a speaker out playing at high volume. Please HELP passengers deal with this

@jamesgreen666 @GNRailUK It was likely waiting for the rear 4 coaches to be emptied and detached. - It was also likely approaching Cambridge slowly on Red Signals and thus the driver didn't deem it safe to make announcements. Going thru a red signal would have delayed things a LOT more I'd assume.
