I’m writing this open X letter on behalf of the emotionally violated citizens of the Republic of South Africa who faithfully watch @Mzansimagic
Episode 193 of #InimbaMzansi has left us UNWELL.
Qhawe. Likamva. At the same time???
I cried real tears. Real. Adult. Tax-paying tears. We formally request group grief counselling. Not because we hate it… but because this is why South African TV clears.
Who else is brave enough to shake a whole nation like this in one episode? @Vanishia_K are you okay ma’am?? This is storytelling that grabs your heart, rattles it a bit, then says “we’ll talk tomorrow.”

These are just the highlights.
In between, there’ve be been amazing other jobs, experiences and moments that have taken my breath away. There’ve been uncountable breakdowns and meltdowns that I really had to crawl out of. There’ve been incredible friends and family who have carried me in prayer.
Through it all… God has been good.
Thank you to everyone that carried me in 2025. I hope to be lighter in 2026.

2025 - a year that broke my heart and built my spirit in equal measure.
I lost my mother to illness, learned more about grief than I ever wanted to, and somehow still found the strength to build, create and serve through Duma Collective and Golden Thread African Agency.
This is a reflection on a year that changed me forever.
I hope this thread inspires someone out there that things can be absolutely horrible and absolutely beautiful all at the same damn time… and through it all… God remains God! ❤️
