Looks like she’s has a medical cognitive condition or basic English comprehension issues. First she tells @AdityaRajKaul to not talk football when there’s a hunger strike on in India. When @RashmiDVS points out that by that metric she shouldn’t talk India & focus on her crown princesses’ criminal son, she responds “well I’ve already spoken about it”. I don’t know how she passed school or got a job - but it definitely wasn’t on merit. Maybe they have DEI in Norway for the cognitively challenged?

I have written about this. Awful things happen here in Norway too.
Norway is not a perfect country. The people or the powerful are not perfect either. I never claimed that.
What we do have is press freedom.
This is probably one of the most covered trials of this century.
He is facing four years of prison, which he has appealed. The case is still in the judicial system.

The British Empire did so much good for the world.
Of course slavery was abhorrent but to expect the British people of the 21st century to pay for actions that took place in the 18th century has no basis in law.
If the government is seriously thinking about this then former colonies should pay the British back for the considerable investment, effort and contribution that this country made which laid the foundations for many flourishing democracies today.

Sharif is looking for another “shabash” from Trump for crediting him with saving millions of lives in the recent India- Pakistan conflict.
Earlier the figure was 45 million. Now it has gone up to hundreds of millions.
Apart from this audacious peddling of lies, what it means is that Pakistan was ready to use nuclear weapons against India.
Instead of decrying this implied nuclear threat by Pakistan, Trump is indirectly countenancing it by treating it as a legitimate response by Pakistan against India.
The US went to war against Iran to prevent it from going nuclear and said that the lunatics in Iran would have used them.
Against that hypothetical threat from Iran, the lunatics in Pakistan are telling Trump that they intended to use their nuclear weapons against India and this is not inviting any rebuff.

She is deeply hostile to the ruling party.
This is what she writes about this so-called “ moving” interview:
“Due to the conditions of his incarceration, the Guardian could not meet Khalid for this interview, so the questions and answers were conveyed via family and friends.”
This is a cooked- up “interview” through unnamed family and friends.
The visa of this journalist should be cancelled for interfering in our domestic affairs in very sensitive areas.

Why deny him the basic right of any Indian citizen accused of a crime, the right to a fair trial? Languishing six years behind bars, without a chance to defend himself legally, is a travesty of justice and a blot on our democracy. I think the people of India have a right to know why.
