@ArvadaPolice Ward and 70th SB…someone trying to catch air at the top of the hill?
English

Picture one - 99 mph in a 35 mph zone southbound on Ward Rd at 70th.
Picture two - 89 mph in a 40 mph zone on W. 80 Ave at Clubcrest Drive.
Picture three - some of the friendly people you will meet when you speed in Arvada.
Speeds like this on these roads end with severe injuries, or death should a crash occur.

@CenturyLink Nope, you had 9 hours scheduled today to make it right. How about you stop fucking people over instead?
English

@SweetGobsOfTom Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the prolonged issue you've been experiencing with the service. It sounds like this has been a challenging ordeal. Could you please send us a direct message so we can check the account and get the issue addressed?

@CenturyLink fiber line knocked down by branch. Scheduled to fix today 8-5. 4:59 get a text to reschedule for 30th, 11 days from now. Disconnected service…you don’t get to treat people that way. It’s a toss up who is worse, @xfinity or centurylink,
English

@dnvr_is_burning @chrisvanderveen Well, that’s what the immigration courts are for. If they abuse it, the court will find that and deport them. I’m not a fan of forcing people fearful for their very lives to stay in places where death is a very real prospect, seems a bit harsh to me. Aren’t we better than that?
English

TRUMP:
"We're going to have the largesr deportation in the history of our country and we're going to start with Springfield and Aurora (Colorado)."
My questions:
1.) who will actually do the removal?
2.) what happens to people in jail awaiting adjudication for serious crimes?

Trump says his mass deportation will begin with Springfield, Ohio

@SweetGobsOfTom @Rossputin @BillOReilly @trans_siberian @KOAColorado Well here’s some sweet gobs of stupid. 🙄
English

Gonna be quite a change-of-pace to have @BillOReilly and the awesome Al Pitrelli of @trans_siberian on the same show. But that's what's happening on @koacolorado on my Friday show. Tune in starting 9 AM MT at koacolorado.com/listen or on your iHeartRadio app (tune it to KOA) or tell your smart speaker to "play KOA on iHeart Radio".
English

@theunwoken1 @Rossputin @BillOReilly @trans_siberian @KOAColorado You got me, I march to my own drum and think organized parties are corrupt. It allows me to not support o’reiley and his multiple settlements by women he’s wronged. But you do you, or you do what your party tells you to do I guess. Morality by party I guess🤷♂️
English

@SweetGobsOfTom @Rossputin @BillOReilly @trans_siberian @KOAColorado Gotta laugh at these nuts that claim “unaffiliated” or independent yet “very progressive”. They don’t know what they are 😂

@VladAnastasio @boulderpolice Haven’t the police had enough of guns that people use to shoot at them? Seems the more dangerous thing to worry about than an immigrant with a work visa, paying his taxes.
English

@boulderpolice wonder what adventure this non citizen will get into tomorrow. haven’t the police had enough of this?

Teamwork Leads to Swift Arrest
The victim was delivering food to a customer on Pearl Street when a man walked by and shouted an ethnic slur at him.
The victim heard the slur but ignored the man. Moments later the man stole the victim’s car and took off.
Despondent, the victim flagged down a passerby to call police since his phone was in the car. Even more upsetting, the man driver’s license, work visa, passport and money were also in the car.
Multiple officers responded to investigate, including an officer who translated for the victim since his primary language wasn’t English. About 20 minutes later the suspect was spotted by Patrol driving recklessly by running red lights, speeding and quickly changing lanes. At one point the suspect even drove the wrong way on South Broadway.
Patrol officers coordinated with BPD’s Special Enforcement and Neighborhood Impact teams to respond after the suspect stopped at a local gas station just south of town. The suspect went inside the store and used the victim’s money to buy items.
As he walked out of the store, officers converged and safely took him into custody. The suspect—who has no fixed address and is currently wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet while out on parole for weapons and burglary crimes—tried to bite one officer and kick out the window of a patrol car multiple times. He was booked into jail on multiple charges.
The victim—who had just bought the car—was quite happy that not only did we get his car and his important documents back, but that we did so in about 45 minutes.
“We have your vehicle,” the officer told the victim. The victim burst into tears.
Additionally, the gas station owner kindly processed a return to give the victim some of his money back.
The suspect, 33, was given a $5,000 bond with a $500 cash option by a judge.
We share this story because we’re proud to help our community members and we also want to remind folks that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Always stay aware of your surroundings, keep your vehicle locked, your valuables out of sight and never leave keys inside a vehicle, which can make it easier for criminals to steal it.

@SteveStaeger @SouthwestAir I wonder if it was the concept of the line or the concept of numbers that confused people? Or maybe both at the same time?
English

NEW: @SouthwestAir is ending its open seating policy. Will now assign seats and offer “premium” seating.

@KyleClark It is true, people just can’t figure out the concept of a single file line and the numbered order to get on a plane.
