A follow up on the Keir Starmer situation. Lord Waheed Alli (homosexual) was appointed to the House of Lords by Sir Tony Blair in 1998. When Keir Starmer became PM there was a fuss over gifts he received from Lord Alli. Starmer appointed someone with little relevant experience to the position of UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade - Peter Kyle (homosexual). Starmer appointed someone with no relevant experience to the post of Secretary of State for Health and Social Care - Wes Streeting (homosexual). Mr. Streeting had a close relationship with Lord Mandelson (homosexual). Starmer appointed Mandelson to the post of British Ambassador to the United States. Mathew Doyle was nominated by Starmer for a life peerage in December 2025. Baron Doyle, who was formerly Keir Starmer's director of communications, was suspended from Labour's parliamentary party over his links with a convicted sex offender. Devastated mum Wendy Duffy, 56, is travelling to a Swiss suicide clinic this week because she says she is too heartbroken to live without her only son. Marcus, 23, died four years ago after choking on a cherry tomato while asleep on the sofa at their home in the West Midlands. Wendy, a former care worker, tried to take her own life once before but survived. She told doctors the grief has become unbearable agony and no amount of therapy or medication can fix it. She has been approved for assisted dying at the Pegasos clinic in Basel and has already paid the £10,000 fee using her life savings. Her family say they fully support her heartbreaking decision even though they are devastated to lose her. Wendy is due to end her life on Friday 24 April.
