Alongside our members who live on Long Island, the UFT is closely monitoring the LIRR strike. Most UFT members should fill out a OP201 form — OT/PTs and nurses should fill out a PD19 form — if you are late for work due to extrodinary transit delays. We will continue to update you with any changes. We hope a fair contract is reached soon.

I could see it looking something like this… Perreault - Zibanejad - Lafrenière Cuylle - Trocheck - Raddysh Kartye - Miller - Sheary Edström - Laba - Chmelař (I’m just sitting in a diner, killing time, so why not have a little fun…)

On to the #NYR: -- The quiet does not help them. Reports say MIN has an offer on the table for Trocheck that isn't going to change much and seems like it's not enough for GMCD, at least right now. -- He could decide to punt the Trocheck move to the summer, when Trocheck's 12-team NTC goes down to 10 on July 1. Trocheck is a pro so staying another few months won't change him, but if the offers aren't any better in June/July... -- Could see #NYR leaning into shopping the smaller pieces like Carrick and Raddysh. -- If the deadline comes and goes with just pending UFAs moved, not sure that justified the letter and all that followed. Can't control the market and the offers but you can control how you approach it all and subtle may have been the way to go here.
