Anyone else torn as a Ranger fan? Like in reality, the Rangers aren’t good enough to win a Cup and should use their expiring deals(Lindgren, Smith, Borgen, Miller, Jones) to amass a large amount of draft capital on top of using their large amount of cap space to broker deals and acquire additional draft capital and really set themselves up for a nice re-tool and rebuild the farm - while also giving them a large amount of finical flexibility in the off-season But in fantasy, they’re playing good hockey right now and the East is so top heavy that it’s very possible to sneak into a Wild Card spot and then once you are in, you have Igor and anything can happen. We’ve seen the Kings and Blues both win as 8 seeds in the last 15 years. And if they buy instead of sell, they can really have a fighters chance Like I don’t know what to root for, logically it’s to sell, but selfishly it’s to buy What’s your guys thoughts? #NYR

@NYRLouie You have a lot of short term cap flexibility this season that really expensive guys who would be hard to move to a contender might be able to be had on the cheap in terms of what you give up because there are so few landing spots plus you can get the draft capital by being a bank
