@TKOEd I hear you. But Alonso was drilled how many times with pitches? And how much time did he miss? Almost none. Sure, some of it is luck of the draw. But some of it is something else. And whatever that is, it keeps landing Alvy on the IL.

The fact that Alvarez is expected to miss about two months, yet no one seems to consider it a huge loss, illustrates how far his stock has fallen. Many now actually prefer Torrens catching. Can you imagine? Waiting on Alvy is like waiting for a bus that never comes.

Leo followed up: "Your boss is a coward and conservatives have neither the time nor the patience for the likes of him." Blunt chose not to run for reelection at 37. His political career ended. That's the enforcement structure operating underneath the pipeline. Not persuasion. Not argument. Explicit threat of political consequences from a private citizen who had never held office, never argued a case, and never served a day on the bench - directed at a sitting governor. Leo now controls a $1.6 billion trust aimed at expanding beyond courts to culture and politics broadly. 86% of Trump's circuit and Supreme Court appointees were Federalist Society members.
