An all time low for @united today. 935pm flight to Paris, delayed until 230 AM for maintenance requiring a new plane to come in. All pax wait and at 130AM the gate agent tells us the first officer timed out and the flight is cancelled. This might be my final straw with them.

@GovSherrillNJ Charges $98 for what is normally a $15 ride and then strands their own tax base for 2+ hours with no updates. So I would recommend NOT letting NJ Transit get you there.

Hear me out… Commercial jetliners fly around with their cabins pressurized to about 8.4 PSI to facilitate breathing. Type C emergency exits (like those on A-320s) have a surface area of about 10 square feet or 1,440 square inches. That means there’s over 12,000 lbs of pressure holding that exit shut against the fuselage. There is absolutely no way in the universe we live in that anyone is getting that exit open in cruise flight, so unless you enjoy long walks with Bubba in the federal prison, stop trying and give the crew and your fellow passengers a break. Thanks :)

Every week this is the scene right outside my building. Sidewalk overrun with broken pieces of furniture and random objects. Today we also had plenty of broken glass. @NYCSanitation @NYPDnews @nypost We shouldn’t just put up with this. Everyone needs to do their part to keep our city clean and the greatest in the world.

If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.

It is more complicated though Congressman. We are crushed by debt and bureaucracy immediately upon medical school graduation. I am planning on a long career in clinical medicine + research but I understand why others do not. I would love to come to DC to meet and discuss further and come up with a plan to fix this problem.

Unless our Medical Schools do a better job of screening admission candidates, we won’t have any Doctors. If you don’t want to practice FULL time for at least 20-25 years, pick another profession.

This graph tells a better story than the average. Almost immediately after graduation, doctors start quitting, and it drops at a continuous pace for 25 years. No plateau. Just continuous decay. Looks as bad as some of the survival curves in oncology! 20% are gone in 5 years! 5 years!! They train for 7 years after college and quit in less than that. They get out as soon as they can! That says one thing clearly - Graduating doctors are realizing that this is not what they signed up for The gaslighting during med school and residency fades fast in private practice. Doctors are not dumb.

Clavicular reveals his current daily drug protocol "Adderall 30mg a day dosed 10, 10 and 10. Last dose is variable depending on whether I'm streaming or want to go to bed early. Selegiline which is an MAO-B inhibitor, basically blocks your body from breaking down dopamine, that's a transdermal patch. Pregabalin to block excitatory neurotransmitters so I'm less anxious and can handle crowded spaces. And Baclofen which is a GABA-B agonist similar to the receptor alcohol hits since I'm quitting drinking."
