#sapsGP #SAPS management in Gauteng has noted the video footage circulating on social media platforms, particularly Tik Tok, showing a police officer in full uniform allegedly soliciting a bribe from a member of the public. The police officer in question has been identified and a case of corruption has been registered for immediate investigation, by the Provincial Anti-Corruption unit and a departmental case has also been instituted against him. SAPS maintains a zero-tolerance approach to corruption. Accepting or soliciting a bribe is a criminal offence and a serious breach of the SAPS Code of Conduct. The Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni condemns any act of corruption by police officials. “We expect the highest level of integrity from our members. Those who betray the public trust will face the full consequences of the law.” All SAPS members are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism, in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, the SAPS Code of Conduct and all applicable legislative and policy frameworks. The @Our_DA run @CityofCT just sold the iconic Good Hope Centre for R135 million. Part of the 53 properties they auctioned off today as the DA raids the family silver - except the silver doesn’t belong to them. It’s an absolute disgrace. These public assets belong to the people. @geordinhl must decide if he’s a public servant or a property trader. If he’s a property trader he should trade with his own properties and not the peoples’! My Coloured landlord is married to a Nigerian guy , he’s currently waiting for his papers since they tied the knot. He runs a fast food business here, but recently he went back home to see his “real wife” and left her with ZERO money. Mind you, the house is worth R1.5 million, but apparently all the money from us tenants pays for the bond and everything else. So now she’s broke-broke. We didn’t have electricity for the past two days, tenants had to contribute money to get it back on. We also share Vuma Wi-Fi together, but she doesn’t have money to pay her part of the Wi-Fi bill this month. I’m the only one who can log in to the router and block whoever I want. Question: Will it be fair if I block her access to the Wi-Fi since she didn’t contribute and she’s been rude af about everything? Or should I just let it slide even though we all chipped in for power and she’s acting entitled?

Just back from a business trip in Joburg. Absolutely shocking the amount of neglect. 1 out of every 10 robots work. Taxis literally drive through the working ones when they're red. Zero regard for the law. And don't even get me started on the pot holes, the size of the grand canyon, in busy MAIN roads! I don't know how people live like this.

Taxi drivers and taxi bosses are now acting like traffic officers. They park around 10 taxis and stop drivers with passengers... Essentially, they are telling people that their kids should travel to school by taxi instead of private cars, and families should also prefer taxis for personal trips. Additionally, they want people to stop using buses and trains and instead rely solely on taxis, as directed by Faraday and the CUTA Taxi Association.
