@OpenMinded_21 @BanHuntingNI @FOSFCanada There isn't a way to regulate fox hunting & to say it would drive it underground is ridiculous. In over 4 years SF haven't given a written proposal to Stormont as to how regulating fox hunting would work. That just proves that the whole 'regulating' thing was a bunch of lies.

The party favours strengthening existing regulations over an outright ban, arguing a ban could drive the activity underground. They contended the proposed legislation was too broad, potentially criminalizing rural communities and traditional practices.  All parties should get together to come up with proposals to end these barbaric, medieval blood sports…Do it for the Animals…If all parties vote in favour, the electorate are hardly likely to change who they normally vote for.

In 2020 Mary Lou said Sinn Fein would ban fox hunting at the next opportunity. In 2021 they voted against the ban in Northern Ireland. What happened to change their minds I wonder 🤔🤔

Not sure SF have received any donations recently or if ever, from Stephen Hutchinson, the head of the Tayto crisp company in Northern Ireland. @OpenMinded_21 @FOSFCanada We have been working closely with the MLA's for over 4 years. They are being paid quite handsomely for keeping fox hunting alive and well in all Ireland.

I think you will find that it wasn't only Sinn Féin chasing that disgusting bunch for their votes ! Sinn Féin does not formally support an outright ban on fox hunting in Northern Ireland, having voted against legislation designed to prohibit it in 2021. The party favors regulating the activity over a ban, arguing that current legislative proposals are often flawed or unworkable, rather than supporting the bloodsport itself.  Hopefully, we can see SF voting for an outright ban for ALL Batbaric blood "sports" that are still legal on this island.
