Cathy should know better but since she moved to Texas the only relationship she has had with the Georgia Republican Party is to have her legal bills paid by the GAGOP

Dear Cathy, I do not know what burr has wedged itself into @PeterBernegger's saddle. He fails to differentiate between the GA Republican Party and individual Republican elected officials. There is a material difference. His confusion is not rare or special. He is so confused that he tags an imposter account (which I have reported) instead of the genuine Georgia Republican Party (@GaRepublicans) The GA Republican Party (GA GOP) voted for a Resolution to excommunicate from the Party and prohibit the current Secretary of State from running as a Republican for any position in the future. (State Convention, Dalton, June 2025.) The GA GOP successfully removed all association with former Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan following his appearance at the 2024 DNC Convention and his endorsement of Kamala Harris. Duncan is currently running in the Democratic Party primary for Governor. Over a dozen members of the Georgia Republican Party and the Party itself have been severely harmed for their efforts challenging the highly (and probably criminally) flawed November 2020 General election. I certainly include YOU as one of those severely persecuted. The Official Party Organization has raised millions to fund defense for its members, organizations and the rights of Republicans in Georgia. We should discourage those that conflate the victims with individuals who caused so much damage to Georgia, our Nation...and Our Party and Friends. We'ld love to see you back in Georgia. And the Federal Cavalry is now here placing many of the usual suspects on defense. After 5.5 long years, this is helpful. Sincerely, Peter Korman

The Chairman of one of Georgia’s political parties cannot get this much space in the AJC to discuss matters of public concern but plenty of room for some random person to complain about their own life choices.

I think when ⁦@ajc⁩ gave up newsprint, it also tossed out the editors. This HS junior complains ATL (no official or govt singled out) has failed her because she has a 90-min commute to school. But she declines to say why she doesn’t move.
