Today, the SBA referred 562,000 borrowers to @USTreasury for collection on $22.2 BILLION in potentially fraudulent pandemic-era loans, marking the LARGEST debt referral in SBA history. The action ends a yearslong de facto amnesty scheme by the Biden SBA, which refused to refer the portfolio to either Treasury or DOJ, even though the loans were both delinquent and internally flagged for suspected fraud. Under the protection of the Biden Administration, none of the borrowers were compelled to repay their debts and fewer than 1,000 faced any inquiry from law enforcement until today. This historic referral would not have been possible without the strong support of the White House Anti-Fraud Task Force. SBA is deeply grateful for the leadership of @VP, @AFergusonFTC, and the partnership of both Treasury and DOJ - which now has the files for review. As a restaurant owner I am forced to charge an additional sales tax and meals tax for every purchase. If I make a good product that people are willing to pay for, the government profits off of my labor. The more I make, the more they make. In fact, the government makes more off of my business than I do. How does that make sense? They also don’t pay me a dime to collect their tax. What’s even more wild is if I don’t pay them the tax I collect for them by a certain day each month, they charge me interest & penalties. Tell me how this is any different from the mafia. Small businesses should ban together and refuse to collect their taxes.

It’s wild how you turned “let’s avoid more bloodshed” into “I support evil.” That’s not nuance — that’s Netflix-level script writing. Disagreeing with war isn’t endorsing a regime. Questioning tactics isn’t defending criminals. You can condemn oppression in Iran and still question whether escalation is wise. You can support accountability for violent actors and still care about civil liberties. The world isn’t a Marvel movie. Not everyone who questions strategy is secretly working for the villain. If asking for proportionality and critical thinking sounds like siding with evil… maybe the problem isn’t my morality. It’s your need for a simple storyline. Good and evil exist. So does complexity.
