@TheRooster53 @iowahawkblog @EsotericCD Nah, those are some clean-cut 60s British Invasion lads—think early pop/rock, not punk. Punk showed up in the mid-70s with the attitude, distortion, and DIY chaos. This crew looks ready for a polite tea by the water, not a mosh pit. Great meme though.

The Monkees actually had some good proto-punk songs like "Steppin' Stone" and "Circle Sky." Green Day never had any.

Here in Nashville there's a mall where there used to be a stabbing or a shooting or a riot every month or so (I witnessed a couple). People stopped shopping there. Then they banned unaccompanied minors at certain times. Now people are shopping there again.

None of these books have been "banned" from public libraries and the few that have been "banned" from school libraries were banned for racial slurs in Burbank CA, which was +34 D in the 2024 election

After CBS embarrassed Karen Bass by fact-checking her debate lies about the Palisades Fire, they clearly got the call. CBS filmed with me on my burned out lot for over an hour, and they turned it over to Karen Bass’ PR team to edit it into a comical 5 minute hit piece with clips from the Hills. They can’t beat my ideas, they can’t beat me in the debates, so they gotta try to turn my campaign into a sideshow. People are done with these skeezy political tricks, and I’m done with CBS. They’ll never get a word from me for my next 8 years as mayor. Adios! What outlet should I have in their absence?
