Now, in Christianity, we have a group of people who call themselves Christian Nationalists who do not want to use Christianity to save souls, but to save the nation. They are the modern equivalent of the progressive Christian movement that, over time, morphed into the social gospel. Just as those progressive denominations are in decline, the conservative congregations that turn the gospel into a political instrument will do the same. @TheLittleRedFez @MUKIDEZA2 Learning history as a kid in Japan in brutal. There's like, 10000 years of Japanese history to memorize before you even get to modern history... THEN you have to do a crash course of Europe, Asia and the Americas. 😵‍💫 I didnt hate it, but it was a LOT.
