So, if the story on Gavin Newsom is just breaking now, with him coming out and saying they are under investigation, that would indicate to me that this investigation has been ongoing for some time. It also would indicate that the FBI already has some or all of the bank records and other documents they need to start interviews. Probably opening a GJ soon, if not already ongoing for subpoenas of records.
