@joeyyochheim @growthhub_ Although it is possible, it will be very unlikely and difficult if you’re doing all those things. Just lock in for 3 months and have some discipline. It will serve both your body and mind.

You could literally: • Drink alcohol on weekends • Have dessert after dinner • Skip breakfast entirely • Never touch a salad • Eat carbs at night And still lose weight... If you're in a calorie deficit. Here's exactly how:

@ChamberofFit Ask yourself this question: Are you really able to go at 100% if you’re spending hours in the gym? Way better to keep it to 45 minutes and push ever set to failure // 1-3 reps from failure.

The average person overestimates how much time they need in the gym to build muscle. My workouts are usually around 45 mins-1 hour. I do 4-6 exercises total for 2, rarely 3 working sets. I train close to failure, mostly in the 5-15 rep range. I take 3-5 minutes rest between sets. And (most importantly) I focus on making progress from week to week on the same exercises for 12+ weeks before changing it up. If you’re making consistent progress (doing more reps or weight from week to week) you can basically guarantee you’re building muscle. The amount of time you spend in the gym is far less important.

@BowTiedPhys Most of us don’t lift as heavy as we should, this is how to get stronger: Let’s say to lift 50lbs x10. Try to do 55lbs x8. Then 55lbs x9. Once you can do 55lbs x10, go to 60lbs x8 Small changes compounded over time will get you stronger.

@FitWealthyU Most people way overestimate how much/little they eat. Track your calories for 1 week so you can really understand.

"Your advice sucks. I'm eating 1,200 calories a day, and I still can't lose weight." Oh, okay. Well, the reason is simple: You're not actually in a caloric deficit. You think you're eating 1,200 cals a day, but you aren't. The laws of physics didn't magically skip you.

@BarrettJ Pretty impressive man. Next time if you don’t have a spotter - don’t put the clips on the bar so that you can slide the weights off in the worst case scenario.

Is it a lot of weight? No, not really. But as the skinny computer nerd who waited until age 40 to see the advantage of weight-lifting, 3 sets of 3 reps at 200lb is pretty damn cool. Onwards and upwards!

@riskmaxxing Young men, find something that you absolutely love to do and can see yourself doing for the rest of your life. Then, find out how you can get paid doing it. Do not fall for the standard 9-5. You have 1 life.

@annakhachiyan Although not worse than a cigarette, most protein bars have so much added junk. Swap in some cheese, much better for you. Roasted chickpeas and beef jerky are also great options.
