@huel @tysonbrody I would take California's levels for safe consumption over FDA or NSF, that maybe too conservative, but Huel needs to do better to reduce the amount of lead. If you're already at 1.8, why not put in the extra work to bring it <0.5 in the interest of consumer safety?

@tysonbrody Consumer Reports' recommendation of 0.5mcg is extremely conservative and does not match that of the FDA (12.5mcg) or NSF (10mcg). You might exceed it with a cup of spinach. Our own independent testing puts Huel at 1.8mcg per serving average, less than a third of CR's reporting.

Huel having 1000% more lead than recommended would actually be a bit of an Occam’s Razor to what’s been going on in SF this past decade

@SebAaltonen lack of gcc is the main issue. inb4 use msvc, it might have fancy gui for debugging but imo gdb is still far better, you can even get neovim bindings, lldb is also great. iirc msvc had some limited support for clang but last i checked it still can't read lldb/gdb symbols

I've been writing C++ on Windows for multiple decades with no issues at all. MSVC debugger is good. GPU vendors have solid DX12 and Vulkan drivers and debugging/profiling tools on Windows. I don't understand why some people don't like C++ dev on Windows?

@deedydas just my 2c, but i don't think we're effectively utilising the current models as is, foundational models getting better is good, but imo bringing down inference cost ($/tok) and inference speed up (tok/s) (at the cost of even gpt-3 like quality) would lead to better utilisation
