I will always remember being in class when Liz Truss resigned. I was sat beside my then best friend, not doing the Maths work we were supposed to be doing (we both despised Maths), and our teacher all of a sudden gasped and turned on the overhead projector. We watched the news for the remainder of the hour and the then fifteen year old Kate despaired for the future (I mean come on, I should've been concentrating on my Maths- I was in Year 11 then and had my GCSEs fast approaching). What a time that was.
