DIASPORA CITIZENS ENGAGEMENT AND LISTENING TOUR – UK. The New must be, and is, the product of broad-based citizen consultation. Born out of listening. Born out of engagement. Born out of the conviction that citizens define the future of their nation. It is in this same spirit that the Citizens President, Advocate Nelson Chamisa, and team will be in the United Kingdom over the coming days to listen, engage, and hear directly from Zimbabweans in the diaspora. With close to five million citizens living beyond our borders, the diaspora is not a peripheral constituency. It is an integral part of our nation. For too long, the old order has welcomed billions in diaspora remittances while denying those same citizens the fundamental democratic right to vote. The New rejects that contradiction. It affirms the diaspora's rightful place in shaping Zimbabwe's future. Every citizen matters. Every citizen has a voice. No border should bar any citizen from The New. #UKTOUR

Why should we spread hate instead of loving one another despite our ideology, mindset, association, tribe, religion, political affiliation, race, etc.,etc. During our protest against CAB3 signed into law, an
official from Zim Embassy joined. What's his name?

On the 10th of July, we expressed our concerns protesting against the decently signed CAB3 by Mnangagwa, What kind of law segregating the majority to say out their centiments in public voting for a YES or No?

Interesting!!!
When it comes to defending our Constitution and democratic rights, the diaspora is totally ignored. We are excluded, and, when we raise our voices peacefully we face intimidation, assault, detention at our own Embassy, and other forms of mistreatment.
But when it’s time to attract diaspora money and investment, that’s wen we’re remembered and invited to the table.
It doesn’t work like that.
You cannot ask for our investment while denying us a voice in the future of our country.

Zimbabweans in the UK are gathering to reject Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 and defend democracy, accountability, and citizens' rights.
Extending political power while people suffer economically is not reform, it is oppression. Let’s Stand up and Speak out.

ZIMBABWE IN TRANSITION..
Zimbabwe is in a season of transition..a generational, ideological, demographic, political, and spiritual transition. It’s been a long, protracted and delayed transition.
The Lord and the citizens of Zimbabwe have entrusted us with a sacred responsibility: to help shape the future of our nation. We will not betray that trust.
Despite the challenges we may encounter, we remain steadfast in our conviction that God is redirecting the course of Zimbabwe..permanently and for the better. The winds of change are blowing, and #TheNew chapter is unfolding before our eyes.
Zimbabwe is already in transition. It has been a difficult and delayed transition, a protracted journey marked by struggle, perseverance, and hope. Yet through it all, we believe that God's hand is guiding our nation toward its divine destiny.
By His grace, the future of Zimbabwe will be brighter, stronger, more just, and more prosperous..for us, for our children, and for generations yet to come.
Whatever challenges we face and lie ahead, we hold firmly to this truth: God is changing the direction of Zimbabwe forever, and for good.
May we remain faithful to this calling, courageous in our service, and united in our commitment to building the New and Great Zimbabwe we desire and deserve.
Thank you for considering this message and vision for our nation's future. Organize. Mobilize. Pray. Keep strong. Remain steadfast and focused. #TheNew

“The People Did Not Ask for This Bill" - Hon. Karenyi Kore Rejects CAB 3 in Parliament
Hon. Karenyi Kore's contribution to the parliamentary debate on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB 3).
During the debate, Hon. Karenyi argued that the people of Zimbabwe did not ask for the Bill and called for it to be subjected to a referendum.
She also raised concerns about electoral reforms, political violence, corruption, and the need for an electoral system that citizens can trust.
"The people did not ask for this Bill. CAB 3 does not create a single job and should be subjected to a referendum to avoid a conflict of interest. We want an electoral system citizens can trust. People want opportunities, not an extension of political power. The problem is not the Constitution; it is political violence and corruption. The voice of the people must remain the voice of our democracy. I stand with unemployed youth, farmers, vendors, workers, mothers and pensioners." — Hon. Karenyi Kore during debate on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support that @MichelleObama has poured into me over the years. Her story — from her South Side roots to the White House and beyond — is a central part of the Obama Presidential Center.
