@KingNoiz I won't be surprised at all if they just port interiors over from previous games. All the Forza games have done it. I don't think it's something to get horribly upset about though. Traffic density arguments are stupid. This isn't a "driving in traffic" simulator.

@HucksBert @engineers_feed ... It stays in the air because of lift generated by air flowing over the wings. When it is on the ground that increased airflow is generated by thrust from the engines pushing the plane forward. The wheels enable it to roll forward and pick up speed to generate enough lift.

@TimUniqueName @engineers_feed The plane would not remain stationary. The engines push the plane through the air, not the wheels. If this weren't the case, how would the plane fly after it's no longer touching the ground?

@jedlik60 @NeonBirdGames Because traffic is low in FH games because I'm the only person that wants to have an open-world driving game with real world traffic. Hell, even the Truck Simulator games don't have realistic traffic density and they're going for that as part of the experience.

@HucksBert @engineers_feed How does the thrust from the engines increase the airspeed flowing over the wings when the plane is remaining stationary due to the treadmill setup? If this worked I don't think aircraft carriers would use catapult systems.

The plane would take off. The thrust comes from the air being pushed from the engines, not from drive wheels. The conveyor is the length and width of a runway, NOT as depicted. There would be some added resistance from the rotational friction of the tires and the bearings. This may be somewhat offset by lift from the increased "headwinds" generated by air moment imparted by the increasing faster conveyor belt.

@VisualFidelity To be fair, it's kind of hard to show off physics changes and "this one will be good with a wheel." (I have no idea if that second thing is true but I hope it is)

Is it just me, or does Forza Horizon 6 look kinda meh in all these previews? Nothing looks new aside from the setting. Where are the new features that actually impact racing???
