@TimeKillers You’re absolutely unaware a business owner can shift income to make their taxable income whatever you want. These policies only hurt people who have w2 income. Prog taxes will be gamed. Taxing at time of transaction is the real progressive tax.

If taxes were fair: You earn $100,000 per year and pay $30,000 in tax. Your neighbor earns $1,000,000 and pays $300,000 in tax. Your neighbor is paying 10X more than you. If taxes were fair, you should both pay $30,000, since you both receive the same government services.

Everything will happen all at once. Currently, the components of AI are being developed and deployed separately. By the end of the year, it will all merge into one thing - AGI. And everything will change.

But the business crashes and I get zero back, I lose even my 1K initial investment. Do I get a refund on the tax, thus more gov spending?
