I learned a long time ago that I am not crazy. Everyone else is crazy. That may sound crazy, but it's true. The things I say may sound crazy, but they are true.

FSD is smoother than human but still less intelligent. Sometimes people need to get somewhere and FSD likes to take its time.

I genuinely love @Gfilche but it doesn’t mean I won’t be honest. This makes you selfish not a Luddite. Either you think you’re better than FSD .. which you aren’t or you don’t care about other ppls safety as much as you care about yourself. And don’t give me this BS “I like to drive”. Most of your driving is not “fun driving”. I genuinely look at ppl who don’t use FSD as low IQ ppl these days. I can understand ppl who don’t know about it or haven’t used it or can’t afford a Tesla. Everyone else… you’re showing your intelligence level.
Gali@Gfilche

I know this makes me a Luddite in the @tesla community but I think it’s crazy an AI is 59% of my driving. Literally living in the future ⚡️

@YIMBYLAND What do the costs of new homes look like for couples with growing families? The market currently is very discouraging. High prices for mediocre homes.

''One Battle After Another'' was literal communist agitprop slop. The film is technically brilliant - beautifully shot, perfect sound track, masterful performances. But what is all this technical mastery in service of? Just three hours of tedious, ridiculous libtard revenge fantasy against right wingers. Colonel Lockjaw is the most one dimensional villain in movie history. Compare him to Javier Bardem's Anton Chigurh in ''No Country For Old Men.'' We still debate Chigurh's motivations some 20 years later. He's one of the greatest ever villains, this inscrutable menacing force of nature. By contrast Colonel Lockjaw is just this piñata for Hollywood liberals to beat and ritually humilate. He's the film's stand in for MAGA so he's portrayed as an evil degenerate racist sex addict with literally 0 redeeming qualities whatsoever. They even include a scene where a black female communist anally rapes him while he begs to be further raped. The worst libtard revenge fantasy in history.

@herbertong If the wheelchair user is by themselves, how do they store the chair? Will it fit in the seat next to them? I suppose eventually an Optimus robot could be used to assist as needed.

🚨 Tesla Cybercab Lead Engineer says the seat height was designed to match standard wheelchair height to improve accessibility. Combined with the unique door design, a wheelchair can park parallel to the seat with plenty of space, making entry much easier. Autonomous transport should work for everyone. $TSLA

That is correct we built the seat height to be inline with standard wheel chair seat height. Accessibility is very important in autonomous vehicles, freedom of transportation for everyone is critical.

Steering wheel/pedals and human driver in $TSLA cybercab that has been marketed for years as having no steering wheel/pedals, and operating 100% via $TSLA’s non-existent level 4/5 “FSD” tech. Is this proof of another E. Musk mistruth?

There is no 2500 rule for a vehicle that passes all safety standards even if theres no steering wheel or pedal. 2500 is for vehicles looking for an exemption to be tested with covering safety standards. Cybercab will pass standards minus side mirrors and rear view mirror. Regulations won't clamp down on that.

@BoBbyPleWniaK I thought about this. Pre order for what ?! 2500 per year is the current rule of the land. Not to mention individual states have not approached mom and pop fleet enterprise registrations. Dunno. Feels a little CT right now. They built something was years late And it’s a flop

Tesla needs to demonstrate they are capable of more unsupervised robotaxis. Until then, these cybercabs will be collecting dust. An optimistic scenario would be unsupervised FSD is possible in a much wider Geo fenced area around the same time they start manufacturing these vehicles. Likely scenario is the cybercab line will run a tad slow, Tesla Ai still working out some FSD kinks, then they slowly drip these cars into the Austin area.

@davidpattersonx this assumes sustained competition. In practice, AI could accelerate consolidation into monopolies or oligopolies (a few mega-firms controlling key AI models or infrastructure), allowing them to maintain higher prices and profits through barriers like data moats.

Some people think that when companies use AI and robots to eliminate workers, they will keep the savings as profit. That is false. Companies will need to lower prices to near the cost of production in order to compete with each other. The government will be the only remaining entity capable of amassing large amounts of money. The government will use that power to provide universal high income to everyone. Most scarce assets - such as art, places of natural beauty, and historical sites - will end up in government hands, since only governments will be able to afford them. These assets will then be made available to the public as shared resources. This process began a long time ago, with governments owning art galleries, historic buildings, archaeological sites, and national parks. This role of governments will continue and expand in the future.

AI and robots will increase economic output by 100 times. There will be no work for humans, and everyone will receive free money that can buy 100 times more than today. We will need to decide whether to place any limits on consumption. What if everyone wants a mansion, a yacht, and a private jet? What if most people don’t? How would it be fair to allow some people to have those things?
