What an incredible year it has been.
A year filled with courage, bold experimentation, late-night builds, campus tours across different regions, hands-on workshops, and countless conversations that slowly but surely strengthened this ecosystem. Every meetup, every class, every community townhall added another layer to what Base Philippines is becoming today.
Last night wasn’t just a celebration. It was a reflection of the builders, students, creators, partners and contributors who showed up again and again — bringing their energy, ideas, and heart into this community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to everyone who poured their passion into this past year. Your contributions, no matter how big or small, shaped every milestone we achieved.
You made all of this happen.

Our team will proactively identify, track, and engage on key global policy developments that create risks or opportunities for Ethereum’s long-term growth and impact.

Excited to share that I’ve joined @a16z as an Investment Partner.
I’ll be focusing on early-stage investing as part of a16z @speedrun, where we invest $1M in new startups and help them scale.
I first got to know a16z when I joined Lyft in 2019, where the firm was a major investor and Ben was on the board. I’ve always admired their unique approach to venture as a product, focus on content marketing, and culture of deep respect for the entrepreneur.
