@TomKrisko @PSUBarstool When we had the good teams with Joe Crispin the BJC was full. My dad’s season tickets in late 90s were in the upper deck. Five years later he was moved down and black curtains went up. If we had a Top 3 or 4 conference team I believe that arena would be mostly full

@hawkbee1 @PSUBarstool So the school makes a profit whether the team is good or not. So if the fans don’t come why spend money. Even when they make the tournament or are at least competitive they have never averaged more than 60 to 65% capacity of the BJC in any year.

And these days you must drive the revenue to afford everything else. So competitive Men’s basketball is important whether fans come or not.
