TAKE OUT EITHER OF YOUR PALMS right now, open them up to look and then bend your middle finger down. Where your middle finger naturally lands on your palm is called Láo Gōng (pericardium 8 or “Palace of Toil”) in Acupuncture.
Now rub this point on either palm for 2-3 minutes with your opposite thumb tip in a clockwise motion. (Do not perform this if pregnant)
This point is used for all things cardiac and heart (balancing, strengthening, regulating) as well as for mental health disorders, epilepsy, vomiting, nausea and fungal infections (of the hands and feet)
It clears heat and inflammation from your pericardium and heart, revives consciousness, calms the spirit down and harmonizes your stomach, also clearing excess “Dampness” in the gut (think Candida, and similar broken water metabolism that allows pathogens to grow in the gut)
In many cultures this point is also a minor chakra of the body, used in religions and energy work alike for hands on healing. You can also activate this point through prayer, placing your hands together and focusing on these points touching and connecting energetically together.
I highly suggest working these points daily for regulating heart issues, inflammation and life force. It is a STRONG regulator of Qi in your body.
This is one of the three points many monks recommend working with daily, as a magical way to heal the body, improve your entire system’s function and live a longer and happier life.
And, I want to add another point to push this year, along with this point, because it is a fire horse year, I would also massage the Kidney 1 point with this.
This point is on the very bottom of your foot at the center base of the pad. It’s tender on many (will attach image)
Pressing this point, the lowest point on the body, drains the charge in body, grounds you and helps Qi flow downward.
It is called Yǒngquán, “Bubbling Spring,” and is mostly used to descend things, anchor us and to revive.
Other TCM main uses :
calms agitation, panic, insomnia and racing mind
helps with heat rising to the head, like flushed faces, dizziness, headaches, pressure(s)
anchors our spirit when someone feels scattered or ungrounded
revives us in collapse or after fainting in classical emergency use
supports our Kidney yin & root when there is empty heat rising
helps connect the body back into the one’s own feet and earth (we are all living in Fire energy & Air, on phones and perpetually, chronically out of body, no presence)
used in qigong for grounding and stabilizing the nervous system.
Why are we doing these?
We want these both in a Fire Horse year because it counteracts what the cosmology and energetics of the year will do. One point grounds, the other balances.
On Monday I will post another way to work with these points.

@rob_doff @DrJackKruse They are heavily deuterated. If you join his forum and read his blogs you’d find out

@Aquinas_Quotes @lgstone How about you quote the actual writings of St Thomas instead of the Bible. What did he really say?

They who are aiming at perfection, must, above all things, avoid the bond of marriage, which, in a pre-eminent degree, entangles men in earthly concerns. This is the reason which St. Paul gives for his counsel concerning continence. “He that is without a wife, is solicitous for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please God. But he that is with a wife, is solicitous for the things of the world, how he may please his wife” (1 Cor. vii. 32).

@j_fishback There are 100% medical reasons for things like this. Unless you are a male OB, no man should have a say in women’s health. And before everyone jumps down my throat, I am 100% conservative. Not liberal.

A lot of people are unaware of what I'm about to tell you.
And this is why for me personally, as I live in the tropics currently, you'll almost NEVER see me getting sunlight from ~10 AM — 3 PM.
Same principles apply for hot, summer days with strong UV light.
There's a gene variant called TYR R402Q, with a worldwide allele frequency of about 25% that is higher in European populations (around 36.4%) - this means over one third of European ancestry has this gene.
And what does it mean?
It means your tyrosinase enzyme (the rate-limiting step of melanogenesis) is thermolabile and it collapses in heat.
— At 31°C = 75% loss of its activity
— At 37°C = becomes completely deactivated
Tropics and strong summer sunlight have the potential to encompass the above.
Humidity also indirectly increases heat retention by reducing the vapour pressure gradient that drives sweat evaporation from the skin.
UVA/UVB light can directly get dissipated as heat on the skin. Melanin ironically plays a role in this, but to what degree is somewhat unknown due to its incredible semiconductive capabilities (usually via the conversion of light into bio-electricity).
UV light also degrades collagen, so there needs to be an emphasis on infrared light exposure (shade/indirect sunlight, sunrise/sunset), supporting inflammation/oxidative stress, DARKNESS at night, and the necessary cofactors to synthesize, crosslink, hydrate, and properly turnover collagen (as seen here — x.com/jack_schroder_…)
This is essentially telling Fitzpatrick types 1, 2, and maybe to a degree 3, that direct midday sunlight exposure in excessive amounts may not be beneficial. Despite what people tell you.
More is NOT always better. I was wrong about this, as I learned from others in the space with dogmatism around excessive sunlight exposure.
But yes, sunlight is still fundamental to life. Just use it properly. People in the tropics are Fitzpatrick skin type 4/5/6/7 for a reason. Natives at subtropical/Mediterranean zones are also like this for a reason.
This is something that almost NO ONE speaks about.
@ChrisMasterjohn touches on this in his article from a few years ago on Substack: Hair Graying? Relax in the COLD

@joekent16jan19 Been calling every day since the start of the bombing. I don’t think they care what we say.

@LauraLoomer I feel sorry for anyone next to you. Do you honestly think the parent wants their kid to cry for 10hrs straight? No. They’re exhausted and stressed knowing people like you are judging them. Did you offer help? Or just b*itch?

@sentdefender Oh yeah, let’s send in the 2 brain dead idiots who advised him to bomb Iran in the first plan.

After three weeks of war, the Trump Administration has begun initial discussions on the next phase and what peace talks with Iran might look like, with talks involving Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, according to a U.S. official and a source with knowledge told Axios.
There has been no direct contact between the U.S. and Iran in recent days, though Egypt, Qatar and the U.K. have all passed messages between two countries, with Egypt and Qatar informing the U.S. and Israel that there is interest to negotiate from Iran.
“Our view is we've stunted Iran's growth,” said one U.S. official who believes the Iranians will come to the table. The official said the U.S. wants Iran to make six commitments:
1. No missile program for five years.
2. Zero uranium enrichment.
3. Decommissioning of the reactors at the Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow nuclear facilities that the U.S. and Israel bombed last year.
4. Strict outside observation protocols around the creation and use of centrifuges and related machinery that could advance a nuclear weapons program.
5. Arms control treaties with regional countries that include a missile cap no higher than 1,000.
6. No financing for proxies such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen or Hamas in Gaza.

@BioavailableNd @livevitaeuk We did fermented cod liver oil. Never again. No benefits. All adverse reactions. Humans should probably listen to their noses, if it smells putrid, you shouldn’t eat it.

@livevitaeuk Many claim the reason some of the Weston A Price founding members got cancer was because of the fermented cod liver oil.

@coookwithchris So get up with the sun. It’s the same amount of sunlight, it just sets later on the clock.

@SenMullin @POTUS VOTE YES. There was NO imminent threat. WE THE PEOPLE DONT WANT THIS WAR.
English

🚨 UPDATE: War Powers Resolution vote is scheduled at 4pm ET today.
Barack Obama dropped 26,000 bombs in at least 7 countries in 2016 without a word from Congress. I won’t hamstring President Trump. Unlike many before him, @POTUS is the ‘peace through strength’ President. He has earned our trust just 4.5 days into this mission.
As Democrat Senator John Fetterman rightfully acknowledged, the President must notify Congress within 48 hours of military action. He did that. If Congress does not declare war, the President must terminate the use of armed forces within 60-90 days.
106 hours into this conflict, President Trump is well within his authority as Commander in Chief. I’ll vote NO on Democrat Tim Kaine’s resolution.

@mattgaetz @mattgaetz what on earth can we do to stop this? Pressure is not working.

@sentdefender Is he delusional? Last time I checked this war is wildly unpopular.

Speaking about his decision to strike Iran and how the war has so far affected oil prices, President Trump told reporters that he expects oil prices will drop once the conflict ends with Iran.
“I'll tell you what, I have never had more compliments on something I did. So, if we have a little high oil prices for a little while, but as soon as this ends, those prices are going to drop, I believe, lower than even before.”
