@danae_hudlow I have many Republican friends who Just won’t vote for Paxton but would for Cornyn. They will stay home or maybe vote Talarico, especially the strong Christians. Paxton gets away with corruption, influence peddling and adultery. The ultimate Swamp creature.

Imagine families all dressed in matching orange and blue every year. A couple of the Dads are on the laptop right now penning, “What a 2026! Firstly, we rooted the Illini to the 2026 Final Four and enjoyed the trip to Indy. In other news we welcomed our 4th grandchild.”

I am so happy for Illinois, I don’t even care that I am going to have to read about it in everyone’s brag letters they send with their Christmas card in December.

🇺🇸🇨🇳At the White House on Friday, Trump said: “American soybeans are now being shipped to China in record amounts.” Unless something unexpectedly changes, 2025/26 U.S. soybean exports to China are on track to be: ▪️a 19-year low ▪️down 58% from the five-year average

McDonald’s reopened in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on March 27. The reopening had been delayed since 2023 due to a severe water crisis caused by Russia’s destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, which disrupted the city’s supply. kyivindependent.com/sense-of-norma…

Positioning vs Reality into USDA Corn, beans, and wheat all show a consistent theme into the March 31 reports: stocks building, demand mixed, and acreage uncertainty high. 🌽 Corn Report-day history: typically +10–15c moves → volatility event Demand strong (record exports), but stocks expected record high (~9.2B bu) Feed usage likely overstated → bearish risk if USDA adjusts 🌱 Soybeans Biggest wild card Crush strong, but exports weak → demand flat YoY Stocks seen highest in 6 years (~2.1B bu) History shows largest downside reactions (-45c type moves) → risk skew lower 🌾 Wheat Quiet but heavy Stocks building again (highest in years) with mediocre demand Less volatile historically, but bias = supply pressure 📊 Acreage Setup (Big Trade Driver) Expect corn ↓, beans ↑ (ratio ~2.40 favors beans) Corn acres ~95M, beans ~85M BUT… last year USDA missed corn acres by +3.5M → confidence low ⚠️ Key Trade Takeaways Market pricing big supply, not demand strength Beans = most downside risk Corn = tug-of-war (strong demand vs big stocks) Expect volatility spike (range expansion incoming) 👉 Bottom Line: This is a positioning report, not just fundamentals—watch acreage + stocks combo for direction. I’d like to congratulate McDonald's in Mykolaiv on reopening. For some, it’s just another fast food place. For others, it actually means something. But here’s what matters to me: McDonald’s kept paying salaries to their employees even when their locations were closed. When McDonald’s reopened in Odesa, many people didn’t go there for burgers. They went to say “thank you.” They bought coffee. Because they remember. I sometimes stop by too. Not because I’m a fan of fast food. But because I value humanity. Although… I do love their cherry pie 🍒

Cornyn. “I’ve always worked hard to earn the trust of our elected officials, so we can roll up our sleeves and work together for the betterment of all Texans. I’m proud to support Sen. Cornyn for re-election because he will continue fighting to protect our energy producers and keep Texas leading the way.” “As someone with a Democrat challenger this November, I understand how vital it is that John Cornyn be our US Senate nominee, otherwise election losses for Republicans could be disastrous. Sen. Cornyn has never lost an election, and with him at the top of the ballot, he will defeat James Talarico and lift up Republicans in down-ballot races,” said State Rep. Shaheen. “Cornyn has continuously fought for priorities Republicans care about, like being an original co-sponsor of the SAVE Act to protect the sanctity of our elections. He has also been a champion for school choice, fighting to empower parents and expand opportunities for Texas students to succeed. I’m proud to support Sen. Cornyn for re-election because he has shown us time and again that he will fight for Texas values.” “Throughout his career, Senator John Cornyn has been a steady advocate for our veterans and active-duty military, ensuring those who serve our country receive the support and respect they deserve,” said State Rep. Wilson. “His commitment to strong national defense and standing by those in uniform reflects the very best of Texas values. I’m proud to support Sen. Cornyn for re-election because he has consistently upheld tried-and-true conservative principles and delivered for our state and nation.” To join more than 500 current and former elected officials, add your name to the growing list of endorsers of Sen. Today, President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush welcomed Ukrainian First Lady Mrs. Olena @ZelenskaUA to the Bush Center. “We admire your country’s bravery and ingenuity,” said President George W. Bush. “We want the people of Ukraine to know that we continue to stand with America’s ally, Ukraine. You are fighting for freedom, and I believe you will prevail.”  Ukraine’s defense against an unprovoked full-scale invasion from Vladimir Putin has now entered its fifth year. Vladimir Putin is responsible for the gravest security crisis on the European continent since World War II. The Bush Institute continues to believe that now is the time to stop him – and to do so, the U.S. must continue its support of Ukraine.
