@westjet Cmon westjet, 4.5 hour flight and almost no food available at row 9 of the plane. Apparently no sandwiches or power bowls available. Horrific for an evening flight after business meetings

@WestJet Apologies do not make improvements. I've been a Westjet customer since the very beginning, and this kind of canned response and lack of improvement has been pushing towards other options for airlines.

@WestJet @AHoensbroech Can we improve on in-flight experience? I miss what @Westjet once had with pre-order menus, and locally sourced entrees (like Spolumbos) instead of just snack boxes filled with US products? Been loyal for over 20 years and this is getting real bad...

@WestJet it wasn't a travel disruption. It was literally a change in flight number. Flight isn't until May 5.

@WestJet @ElPunitor This is just bad. As someone who is 6'1", and already had to be picky about
seat selection, this looks uncomfortable and coule be actually painful. I would not accept this for a 3+ hour flight and if you continue to outfit your fleet this way, you will lose customers like me.

The video shared is of one of our newly reconfigured aircraft. Previously, this aircraft operated with an all-economy cabin layout.
WestJet pioneered making air travel available to more Canadian, through our ability to keep costs low and to offer affordable airfares – to continue to do so, we need to try new products, these aircraft accommodate an extra row by varying seat pitch between 38 and 28 inches. These pitches are in line with what you’ll find across North American airlines.
We have 21 aircraft in this configuration at this time. We are closely monitoring guest and employee feedback to assess the product’s performance, comfort and suitability, while ensuring our unwavering commitment to safety remains at the forefront of every decision we make.
Because safety is so important to us, it’s worth noting as part of the reconfiguration, the aircraft underwent an extensive safety and certification process. All modifications were completed in accordance with Transport Canada’s rigorous airworthiness standards and WestJet’s own high internal safety requirements.

@TELUS Your "Upgrade your boxes now" is now costing me money. You were to ship on the 19th, but instead you shipped on the 20th. Purolator did not leave a door delivery note and I bet im going to have to travel 3/4 across calgary to pick it up, all because you shipped a day late.

@UPS_Canada For some reason my package is being delayed for "Severe Weather and Emergencies" despite being in the city since yesterday. As far as I can tell there's no storms and I haven't heard of any emergencies on the roads or your warehouse..so what's going on in YYC?

@WestJet Looks like my expiring lounge passes (Expiry April 29) was not included in the extension. Really hope my companion voucher is delivered on time...

@WestJet Here's a question...So my last year companion voucher from my WE MC would have expired April 29th. I changed them to lounge passes as I didn't have a personal flight with companion to book at the time. 1/2
