The market is numb to the headlines. We just saw the worst possible outcome to US-Iran peace talks. Not only was a deal not reached, but the US itself is now set to blockade the Strait of Hormuz, military action is back in discussion, and US oil prices are up to $105/barrel. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 is down less than -0.5% today after rising +5% prior to negotiations on hopes of a peace deal. The reality is that investors are preparing for prolonged inflation and the acceleration of the AI Revolution. Own assets or be left behind.

@commonsenseplay @BillRMcDermott so the CEO fails to pump the stock, its actually down 20%+ since his buy, and your response is to buy now because even a $3M purchase didn't stop the downward spiral?

I hope everyone uses this season of $TSLA price action to stop following people that constantly say Tesla going up and that try to frame every news item as the catalyst that's going to move the needle. Be careful who you listen to, as many are not living in reality and having the wrong expectations often leads to disillusionment

After spending a few days with the @Tesla Model Y Performance, I have some thoughts: To give some context, I’ve owned a Legacy MYP since 2021, and a M3P since 2024. Off the bat, if you’re an owner of the new M3P, you’ll feel right at home with this car. From the Sport Seats, to the Adaptive Suspension, everything feels very much alike. I think it’s important to note that this particular car was built in Giga Berlin, and wow the quality was absolutely incredible. Massive respect to the Tesla team in Berlin, the car felt so solid. Seats: The Model Y Performance now includes the Sport Seats from the M3P, but with power thigh extensions and less aggressive lower seat bolsters. These seats are the most comfortable seats Tesla makes imo. I’ve done multiple 20+ hour days in mine with almost zero fatigue. They make the car. So glad they brought it over to the Y. Suspension: This is the biggest difference overall compared to the Legacy MYP, like it’s not even close. This car feels SOLID. It’s still have some stiffness — which is to be expected for a Performance car with 21" wheels, but in no way is it uncomfortable. There is a noticeable difference in how the rear feels, especially over bumps, it feels very German-like in a good way. You can definitely feel the difference when you flick the Ride & Handling between Sport and Normal. You can easily roadtrip this car with no worries of feeling uncomfortable. Handling is much improved over the Legacy version, but isn’t as direct and engaging as the M3P, which is also to be expected. Power: 0-60 mph has now been reduced to 3.3s from 3.5s for the Legacy model. There is also a Launch Mode which is a first for the 3/Y platform. The rear motor, like the 3P sounds awesome under load — it sounds like a spaceship. The car is plenty quick for 99% of people out there. Styling: I think the car looks so awesome. I’m so happy that Tesla finally gave Performance models their own identity. It’s instantly recognizable, and the gloss black accents around the car looks cool. I would definitely remove some wheel inserts off the Arachnid 2.0 wheels if it were mine, but they’re great as-is. The rear definitely looks the best imo — that carbon spoiler is HUGE. I also like the way the mirror caps are black, regardless of which color you pick. Nice touch. Overall, if you have a pre-refresh Model Y Performance, this would be a massive upgrade. If you have a Model 3 Performance (2024+), and need some extra space, you’ll be very happy with this car too. It is probably the best all-around car that Tesla makes. It includes utility, performance, styling, and comfort all in one. For the price, it’s hard to beat this package. Thanks to the Tesla team for allowing me to test this car over the last couple days. It was a blast! I took some 4K images, they’re below :)

What Trump did by announcing that the US would leave even with the strait closed is created a situation where every other country that is a net importer of oil and refined products is now paying roughly $1/barrel toll. The deal could be… 1. Denuclearize with inspections 2. Stop supporting proxies 3. Sanctions relief 4. Get the $2M toll as long as it’s in US dollars. *Very important that it remains USD* to maintain petroleum dollar. Some of the money could go towards a “regional fund” This would make Iran $ 90B from tolls a year and another $90-100B from Oil sales. 200B / year. Right now they sell to the Chinese at a significant discount because of the sanctions. If they become economically dependent on the strait being opened full time. they will save their economy and cement the current regime in power. The ultimate loser in this will be any and all countries that are net importers from the strait of Hormuz.

This thing is going much further down. Clear break of structure. Get out of ALL calls. Once that 650 level broke. That told me everything I need to know about where this is headed. It was worth a shot trading it. Now we move on. I remain in half sized May puts for $SPY, $QQQ, $TSLA, $NVDA, and $GOOG. NOT looking good here.

$AAOI files for another $250 million USD ATM, upping the amount to $500 million. The positive note is: $AAOI has already finished their first ATM. Markets absorbed $250 million in selling pressure (likely ~$100 before the stock went to $120) and the stock increased anyway. “The amendment states that 2,476,307 shares have been sold for gross proceeds of approximately $249,999,983 under the sales agreement as of March 12, 2026” However, I’m extremely bearish when it comes to excessive ATMs for any company like $IREN or $POET, and it’s not inclusive to $AAOI. $500 million for capacity expansion is likely accretive compared to other $6 billion ATMs if people want to wait it out. That being said, not happy about it and if they needed $500 million, should have done it from the start.

I’m no AI expert but memory stocks look tempting to short… It’s one of the largest bottlenecks right now for AI, which is good but you would also had to think that the smartest minds in the world are working on solutions to solve it.. Two biggest concerns would be - $NVDA announcing a new chip or optimization that requires way less memory.. GTC is coming up next week. It doesn’t even have to be that direct of a comment just something that clouds up the bullishness on the memory space - other thesis would be an overbuild but that would more align with an entire AI overbuild which I don’t think were there yet. I don’t like shorting against the trend, so I’m likely not going to act on it, but I know at some point these names come down. $SNDK reminds me of $SMCI a couple years ago..

Holy ****, this thesis was perhaps the most legendary one on X this year. $AXTI is now at $46.7 after Nvidia funneled $4B into photonics players $LITE and $COHR today. Guess who controls all the materials? Did you listen anon?
Serenity tweet media
Serenity@aleabitoreddit

Warning: The entire AI industry will likely be bottlenecked by two companies: 1. $AXTI ($700M) 2. $SMTOY ($31.7B) Which both control 60–70%+ of the world's InP substrates. Future $NVDA, $GOOGL TPU v7 pods, $META, $MSFT, $AMZN hyperscaler clusters require InP-based lasers and receivers. $AVGO, $LITE, $COHR use for EMLs for 800G/1.6T transceivers, DFB lasers, and other optical infra. Without InP substrates, the supply chain falters. After looking at TPU BOM to Maia BOM, it looks like future ASICs + GPUs + hyperscaler deployments are heavily reliant on photonics. And two vendors could freeze the global InP substrate market covering nearly all of: - Hyperscaler optics (TPU pods, etc) - Optical transceivers (5g, data) - LiDAR (robotaxis, drones, military) -Optical Modules (interconnect clusters) - Silicon photonics laser dies (Nvidia’s future co-packaged optics and Intel/Broadcom SiPh engines use InP CW laser arrays.) Since these companies make up majority of the market supply: -AXTI (est. ~30–35%) -Sumitomo (est.~30%) - JX Nippon (est. 10-15%) That’s it. (eg. 2021 industry note from Yole states that "Sumitomo Electric + AXT together had “more than 75%” of the InP substrate market") Hyperscalers/AI are moving toward photonics but the entire AI industry is fragile. If either $AXTI or $SMTOY stop supplying materials, the entire future AI buidlout gets crippled. It's even crazier that a $700m company could become the the center of it all. InP substrate will likely one of the biggest bottlenecks alongside HMB as the AI industry shifts to photonics.

Commenting on Micron's HBM4: 1. If this is true, then Samsung using 4nm + 1cnm would have been a foolish move. 2. Micron would end up with an overwhelmingly lower cost structure compared to the other two major memory makers. That said, what I don't understand is this: even SK Hynix achieved 11 Gbps in internal testing but couldn't hit 11 Gbps when paired with NVIDIA GPUs, which led them to redesign. So how did Micron manage to achieve 11 Gbps without any revision? That doesn't quite add up to me.

Buying $TSLA when it's up like this prior to an earnings report is insanity. We all saw the delivery numbers. They were terrible. That always translates to terrible earnings. And, when Elon starts talking rubbish about robots, $10 Trillion valuation, blah blah blah, it drops hard

I can’t imagine having 30-40% of my net worth in big tech equities right now. This ai bubble is going to pop and carnage will ensue. I’m very bearish on NVDA, TSLA, PLTR, AAPL, GOOGL, TSMC, AMNZ, META right now. There is no way these companies can live up to their valuation. 30% + correction in the next 18 months. More in NVDA. Data center developers and owners going to go bankrupt too.

Can we skip ahead to the part where Trump backpedals? It’s inevitable as markets will tank on any serious Greenland action and global EU trade war. Territorial integrity/sovereignty is red line for EU/NATO. Why do we have to go through the theater motions over and over again? 🤦‍♂️
