I assume this person is joking but a lot of people are not this with type of stuff.
They refuse to see the ways in which AI can and will revolutionize creative production, productivity, and creativity overall. Sure, a lot of it is still a few years off but i and many others are literally doubling if not tripling the rate at which we learn new things and produce content just thanks to LLMs.

Whenever I read biographies of people from 100 years ago, most recently Dostoevsky, I find out that most women, even lower middle class ones, had some form of domestic help. Dostoevsky’s family was so poor they lived in a tiny apartment but still had six servants to help with their eight children. The mother did not work outside the home. In Doctor Zhivago, when the family was on the run during the revolution in 1917, they brought their nanny with them as an indispensable person. It’s crazy how something so common as domestic help in the western world just disappeared.

funny because some of the most well rounded people I've met were raised going to private school while simultaneously having a stay at home mom, no side hustle or anything. when you think these thoughts, you reveal yourself as lower class. for ages women have stayed at home and had some form of “help” with the children while they tend to other chores and their husband. it's a full time job to cook, clean, meal plan, and nurture your spouse/children. hard work exist outside of adult daycare.
