Another tag: The Colts are placing the transition tag on QB Daniel Jones, per sources. The transition tag is $37.833M, more than $6M cheaper than the QB franchise tag, but gives Jones the opportunity to sign an offer sheet with another team that Indianapolis would then have the right to match.

Final: Florida State 92, Virginia Tech 69. #Hokies led 42-39 at half. Were outscored 53-27 in the second half, yielded 78% shooting (18-for-23), only made 9 of their 25 (36%). Lacked energy, too. Stock rose with Q1 win at Clemson, but took major hit today with Q3 loss.

Anti-Tanking idea: create a lottery equity system based on your team’s results the past 5 years.
Make it so teams entering rebuilds can easily obtain high picks to get a franchise player, but don’t allow them to get another one like San Antonio/Houston, they become late lottery

One of my favorite stats of the season is that the Ant + Jaden + Naz core in their minutes without Dillingham and Conley on the floor is a +18.5 in almost 500 possessions.

We call everybody who’s 6-8 a 3-and-D wing it’s ridiculous.
People vastly overrate how many reliable 3-and-D’s exist at any given time. Earlier this season I checked how many wings had a +1 D-EPM and shot 36% or better on 3’s. At that point the answer was five.

If there is a team out there willing to give up a slew of assets for Jaden McDaniels and there are also suitors for Julius Randle, the Timberwolves have the best shot.
