IDA is pleased to participate in the UN High-Level Meeting on #Beijing30 at the General Assembly in @UN New York. The meeting marks 30 years since the 1995 Beijing Conference on Women, where women with disabilities made lasting contributions that shaped the CRPD. Building on this legacy, IDA continues to advance gender equality and rights through research, advocacy, and initiatives worldwide, from Deaf women’s leadership in Southern Africa to creating safe training spaces for women with intellectual disabilities in Nigeria.
