Facing emerging infections, climate-driven health crises and declining trust, UNIPH fellows and alumni presented evidence-based recommendations at GHS2026 in Kuala Lumpur (9–12 June 2026), urging coordinated, equitable, cross-sectoral action to strengthen global health security.

Uganda’s trained disease detectives are containing the Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak. Rapid contact tracing, PoE surveillance app deployment, and UNIPH-trained teams in Hoima, Arua, and Kampala now emphasize the power of capacity building and collaboration.

LINDA‑FAMILIA trained nine PhD fellows and one postdoc in Kigali (20–24 Apr 2026) on systematic review, meta‑analysis, RevMan, and evidence translation. Visits to Kicukiro Health Centre and Rwanda Health Intelligence Center grounded practical learning.
