I haven't decided what kind of notifs I want yet, currently only getting once/daily email.
Currently have whatsapp & discord messages from uptime.io for my server, and can add more custom messages so maybe I'll try to extend that if it works.

IBKR cancelling orders today and notifying everyone of this 10 hours later reminds me why I have created the Orders Audit section in my nifty little Sorbet 🍨 ...
It manually or automatically polls my open orders in IBKR and makes sure they match my _orders.csv file.

@Dan_Trend Yes, that’s what the audit does. Quizzes open orders vs expected and places the orders again automatically.
When shares not available to short, it replaces it with another symbol with high correlation.
I had it set up with a TG bot, but I don’t think that’s secure.

As an AI denier, I've finally caved in and setup CC to do some grunt work (outside realtest only).
One of the main things I want it to do is monitor API logs and contact me any time orders cancel or any kind of error/warning flag comes up.

There are so many experts on global war and politics.
Most people would be relieved if they admitted that they don’t know - and won’t know - until it actually happens.
They could be better prepared and wouldn’t have to suffer from so many confirmation biases.

Down to 55% gross exposure from 160% at Monday open, feels good. Didn't do any manual interventions. It is hard not to get nervous when exposure rises in these unstable times. It is one of my strengths that I can deal with stress and still deliver.

Constantly improving sounds like "data mining" and data snooping. We have not changed or backtested a new strategy for at least three years.

@UnForgeron @JoachimMo1985 Imo the unfortunate reality is that the few traders the are smart enough to generate meaningful returns are also smart enough to understand that they shouldn’t share in detail how they do it. So then all that’s left is super vague advice and sharing of returns / bragging

If you do a weekly recap: do it on a WEEKLY basis, not just when you win. Show some useful KPIs or something. Not just a f%#$>ing line. Nobody is interested in your bragging.

@JoachimMo1985 Absolutely. My point is that at key turning points correlations usually jump which is also an indicator of poor market health IMO.

@UnForgeron Correlations can change on a dime, in DD they tend to correlate more. Especially when trading equities, but also in futures.

Risk on/off indicator turned red on Friday. It has a good track record. It uses different assets like e.g. Bonds, Stocks, Gold to quantify market regime.
