It breaks my heart and makes me sick that this can happen. London’s bus drivers are the best of us, work a tough job for nowhere near a just wage, and face abuse and violence every day. @TfL is not doing enough to protect them. My thoughts are with Sergei’s family & workmates.

PCS passed a motion stating: "A party based on the organised working class that fights for anti-racist, anti-war, socialist policies is vital to prevent the far-right harnessing the growing anger of working-class people with Starmer’s Labour."

Our thoughts go out to Sergei Krajev’s family. A father, husband and grandfather, who went out to work and did not come home. @TfL needs to take immediate action to ensure the safety of all bus workers. No bus worker should be subjected to violence whilst carrying out their duties. TFL and the bus companies must now swiftly introduce training for drivers on how to respond and deal with violent confrontations.

Shoppers brawled outside a Swatch store in Milan following the launch of its new collaboration with luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet. The watch sells for £335 retail, but some have been seen put up for resale online for up to £16,000. The rare collaboration has seen long snaking queues and heightened security outside of its stores globally, resulting in stores shut across the UK over the weekend. Swatch has told people "not to rush to our stores in large numbers to acquire this product" as it needed to "ensure the safety of both our customers and our staff".

Unite will pay any fines from money allocated to Labour Party affiliation fee - quite right too! Some of the remaining affiliation money will go to the Birmingham bin workers' strike fund. @UKLabour, you are making yourselves look like idiots.

Onay Kasab from @unitetheunion explains that an outline deal was reached with Birmingham council to resolve the bin strike but then the council withdrew it and now they're refusing to negotiate with the union at all!
