Thousand Lights Assembly constituency (Tamil Nadu, India) is very personal for my family and myself. Although I was born in Mylapore, my family and I lived mostly within the Thousand Lights constituency (especially in Teynampet and surrounding areas). We also used to have a photography studio in Eldams Road (Teynampet) up until 2023. DMK Headquarters @arivalayam was literally 3 to 5 minutes walk from where we last lived in Teynampet. My parents had the opportunity and privilege to cast their rightful democratic votes for the current incumbent (and upcoming) Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Mr. M.K Stalin @mkstalin @CMOTamilnadu when he stood as a DMK MLA Candidate in Thousand Lights during 1984, 1989, 1991, and 1996 Legislative Assembly Election. He was duly elected as an MLA 2 times with a majority between 1984 and 1996. Now, the proven MLA Candidate with a track record standing for his 2nd term is none other than Dr. Ezilan Naganathan @Dr_Ezhilan. Recently, I went to Tamil Nadu in 2011 and 2023. In my 2023 visit, I have seen major developments (and operations) at all levels and more cleaner streets compared to 2011 visit. I have enjoyed my time in this constituency more after a long time since my 2011 visit. I hope and pray that this progressive, promising, and prospering change continues in this constituency. I hope he will be appointed in a ministerial position in any upcoming cabinet reshuffle (touchwood) that may take place !!! #ThousandLights #Chennai #DMK #DrEzilan
