This body cam footage is extremely shocking. You can hear Henry Nowak’s pleas about being unable to breathe. And you can hear how the police dismissed them and failed to take action to try to save his life. This is not just about knife crime. This is about police failure, poor police training and anti- white racism. Who is going to be held accountable for this scandal?

Around 1.3 million surrendered in April 1945 alone. Unfortunate that some of them didn’t survive but most of them did. Almost certainly due to their victors.

Today has been a tough day, and we have lost some brilliant councillors who have passionately served their communities. Many residents I spoke to were frustrated and made clear they wanted to see change happening faster, in a way that they can feel in their daily lives. The lesson for Labour has to be to get on delivering Labour values and the change people voted for less than two years ago. We cannot turn in on ourselves. I will be getting up tomorrow and putting everything into delivering for my constituents and a Labour government led by Keir Starmer
