MMRDA is proud to share the news coverage of Mumbai Metro Lines 2A (D.N Nagar to Dahisar East) and 7 (Dahisar East – Gundavali) having recorded a combined ridership of 8 million since its inception i.e., April 2, 2022. The two elevated lines have seen a consistent 5% increase in ridership month-on-month. At present, an average of 2.30-2.35 lakh passengers take these trains on weekdays.

@MTPHereToHelp @MMRDAOfficial @DrSanMukherjee entire JVLR from IIT main gate to Tagore Nagar junction is jam due to badly diverted road by J Kumar for metro. This is since last 5 months. Poor management by MMRDA. Why can't they work in night. The steel supports are too old.

Conventional steel super structure might be heavier, but it's very easy and economic to erect. Or a RCC balanced cantilever would have been completed in the same time, if it could have started earlier.

@NIAirport Drainage, earthworks and MEP needs time for detailed design, procurement and testing. Can't be done in the next 12 months, even in full throttle. If done, it's definitely with flaws.
