Kerala’s waste-laden trucks & overloaded mineral lorries were blocked by NTK cadres in Tirunelveli, Tenkasi and Kanniyakumari districts, even though police cases were registered against them..Over the past 5 years, they consistently worked with local people, taking their grievances to Tirunelveli & Tenkasi collectors through petitions. During my field visits, I hv often seen them step in to help me connect with locals. In one such visit, their involvement and my story eventually led to the Tirunelveli administration shutting down a quarry in Kavalkinaru. Their RTI efforts have also helped journalists in Tirunelveli report on a range of issues. They stood with victims of alleged police excesses & organised protests. The recent dip in their vote share may just be temporary....i hope they will re-emerge.

In that advocate #Nelson video, no clear evidence is there for #Rajabaron attacking Nelson’s family….. #Kara - After the initial mixed reviews, went with low expectations but #Kara was a well made heist film which was surprisingly very good. Was not so happy with #Kuberaa & #Idlikadai but #Kara did wonders for me. It is an edge of the seat thriller…… Started on a high note, moved slowly for a few minutes in K.S.Ravikumar portions but after that BANG ON. Especially loved the Pre interval heist stretch. #VigneshRaja wonderfully incorporated subtle humour here and there and the whole crowd enjoyed it very much. Climax felt very apt and emotionally connected. Everyone’s performances, especially #Dhanush , #KSR , #Suraaj & #Jeyaram were outstanding. Seeing all the -ve reviews it is definitely negative PR and some ppl getting influenced by that. If at all one has to complain, it is the slow paced father son scenes in the first half. Other than that Kara is a simple wholesome entertaining thriller…. Not an offbeat film. Will definitely satisfy all set of audience 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍
