There's 8 billion people in the world, if he gave everyone a billion dollars he would still have 343 billion left

@Aashulxfs @manaman_chhina IPS are not soldiers, they are babus in uniform.
English

@manaman_chhina Sheer waste of public money and resources. Looks gross and unsoldierly
English

A senior officer should be received in uniform with a salute.
Not with this bouquet tamasha.

@alpha_defense Grew up seeing them taking off from AFS Agra. Gajraj-- queen of the skies.

@SunilIssar @IndianExpress Looks like Arlekar in the photo🤔. Pune in your plans? Would be great to see you.
English

@VikramHeble @IndianExpress Exactly, that's why I wondered how Indian Express had him in the new TN Govt group photo 😁 Basically, laziness and inefficiency by the publication

@OfficeOfDGP Not a cing fan, but this is a tasteless comment. Not expected of you.

@IAF_MCC They are Indian air warriors first , women later.
Don't glorify mediocre achievements just because someone from a gender did it for the first time.
English

Excellence takes flight.
Sqn Ldr Saanya achieved a historic first by becoming the first woman officer to earn the coveted Cat-A Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) qualification. Her achievement embodies dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence.
A proud milestone for the IAF and an inspiration for aspiring aviators across the nation.

@IAF_MCC Excellence? 😂 First woman Cat-A QFI in 2025?
PAF inducted women fighter pilots in 2006, had combat-ready female pilots by 2013, and multiple flying operational missions years ago.
IAF still celebrating basic milestones while playing catch-up. Pathetic slow progress.

@1shankarsharma @harshmadhusudan @1shankarsharma a valid observation. But will the Jingoistic Indian listen?
English

In that case you should meet a lot of Chinese people ( I do know a few).
Their opinion of India my surprise you.
For them the only competition is America.
India does not even matter.
Not even the 112 billion dollars surplus that they enjoy.
( However, your point on their investment in Vietnam is valid: it's a tiny, absolutely zero threat country to China. India is relatively bigger. But don't have delusions about what China actually thinks of India)
English

The Chinese, who cannot even talk to their own folks on this platform, are lecturing Indians about why Vietnam etc got China+1 investments as Indians are too argumentative and defensive, not willing to learn etc. It is all typical gaslighting nonsense.
The Chinese, despite their hostility towards the Vietnamese, are happy to invest there because a relatively small Vietnam can never become a true economic rival the way India can and will. It is as simple as that. Beijing has actively put in poison pills. DC is also openly saying it cannot let India become another China.
The Indian elite is actually more invested in India than the Chinese elite in China. Entrepreneurs, army officers and administrators do not overnight vanish in India the way they do in China. This is not a Stalinist-Maoist state.
Make no mistake, Beijing is very scared about India's latent and developing potential. And America is also a bit more than nervous as its own officials have confessed on Indian soil itself.
India has made significant improvements in its manufacturing, defense and deep tech ecosystems starting from a very low base even as late as a decade ago. Delhi has simultaneously accepted more trade and more industrial policy.
Much more needs to be done of course, and is being done. Manufacturing will be one of India's key strengths over and above its unique services one. Do not let the frustrations of others bamboozle you into doubting your own country.
India is a generation behind China and two behind America. It will cover the gap in decades, not generations. Yes, we should rise even faster but we are rising starting with universal adult franchise in a continental-sized civilisation and a millennium of heroic resistance to colonialism behind us.
Please learn to differentiate between well-wishers and those pretending to be so.

@NayalSkand42069 @Chopsyturvey Op Sec? Get your fundas right. What's operational here? And how does this compromise security? Silly.
English

@Chopsyturvey So much for OP security that now Intelligence staff craves for limelight. Deplorable. Professional incompetence at its best

“Happy to inform that today I have assumed the appointment of Brigadier GS Int of the Command! May the chair, appointment and the rank keep me humble, dedicated to our organisation and our beloved Motherland!”
_ _ Brigadier Shrikant Purohit
There are moments when truth, patience, and integrity finally prevail. An officer who once faced injustice and humiliation has now earned the position he truly deserved. Time has a way of restoring balance. Respect earned the hard way lasts the longest.
Congratulations Brigadier Purohit.

@MHUM41 @Harriwxu3 Man using brawn, X men using brain. Rock says FU.
English

@Harriwxu3 Why they don't use their brains instead of their muscles. It was easier for him to turn the machine off fix the problem and then continue the work
English

@RepPatHarrigan You aren’t paying for the knob, you’re paying for the certification of the part which sometimes includes a lot of engineering testing and validation.
English

For 20 years, a $6 knob that takes one hour to 3D print has been grounding Black Hawk helicopters four times a month, and the contractor responsible won't sell us the part or the IP rights to fix it ourselves.
So instead, American taxpayers have been paying $40,000 every single time to replace the entire system, multiplied by four times a month, for two decades.
That is NOT a procurement problem, that is a shakedown, and it is exactly why right to repair has to be in this year's NDAA.
English

@anuragwho It is this mindset that will push Nepal towards China. Is that what India wants?
English

Given that Nepal gdp is around 45bn and Mumbai gdp is about 310 billion, someone with equal stature to Nepal PM would be Bandra ward ka MLA.
Maybe that’s what he’s asking for.

@extinctkid Pakistan created their own mess. Pakistan started off well but quickly shot it's self in the foot. Look at the effort wasted on Kashmir, which only your fattened Army has benefitted from. Pakistan needs to introspect not obsessively blame India for all your woes.
English

The same footing 1947 myth busted, Pakistan was literally built from scratch:
-India got 90% of industrial units, Pakistan got only small shops.
-India withheld 550M of Pakistan’s 750M rupee share, causing an instant liquidity crisis.
-All ordnance factories stayed in India

India and Pakistan started the journey at the same footing in August, 1947. Now, after almost 80 years, India is a $4 trillion economy, while Pakistan is barely escaping the default. What is one good thing that India did for its economy that Pakistan could not do ? Share your thoughts.
English

"From a Washington perspective, #Pakistan is not a woman to marry, but rather a whore to use and discard. Munir is just the latest pimp. Trump’s term is ending and whoever comes next—Republican or Democrat—will likely agree on one issue: Pakistan is not to be trusted, nor will the United States feel any obligation to respect any Trump promises to Munir."
