I wanted to share a personal milestone; I have taken over as @OVioHQ marketing lead. I’m excited that @jamie247 and @ChatziDimi trust in my marketing and leadership skills and want me to lead in this new chapter of Outlier Ventures as we move with the market and focus on later stage projects that outperform within the agentic internet. I’ve been with Outlier Ventures for almost two and half years, consulting with hundreds of founders on gtm strategy and how to set up marketing as a function within their companies. This has been an extremely rewarding journey, knowing that in some capacity, I am able to share in successes of so many startups. I will always continue help in one way or another. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been full-time in web3 since 2018, and I earned my stripes by jumping head-first as a founder. some data for you from a launch moving 100k+ people in less than 50 hrs. building up community campaigns, a discord launch and a whitepaper launch real time. you can't just come out the door guns blazing, you need to prepare the narratives, the mindsets to receive exactly what you are planning to put down. orchestrated a few things in the last few weeks to build up momentum and sentiment for things that i knew we were cooking. crucial for a successful launch, don't sleep on weeks long intentional prep. people know the difference, this is a marathon with sprints in it. discord: - doesn't have meaningful analytics yet since its less than 2 days old, but we did a 0-100k in 50 hrs which is nice for a zk project ;) - we have 2 layers of verification set up to leave bots out of the game. - from our 1.5M berry NFT holders we have 35k+ Berry Harvesters who also joined the server already and berryfied their roles. linktree: - both me and @AlexOnchain give a lot of bad rep to linktrees but once people click on it the conversion is immaculate. - majority of people go for discord and the website for now. good to know our priorities, will keep the linktree for now. - mistake: didn't add the whitepaper interactive reader website prior to launch. read.beboundless.xyz website: - core part of the campaign so we motivate our audience to actually read this groundbreaking, showstopping, innovative piece of technological paper. - i was not about to let this paper go unread, so we made sure we do everything we can to make this unique, exciting, new and for it to be a pot for organic content :) - total conversion from the launch post (150k impressions now) to about 2k visits is not terrible but also not great - maybe because the reader was posted in the last post of the launch tweet x.com/boundless_xyz/… - we do have 400 downloads of the paper and many many hundreds of people sharing their favorite quotes x.com/dabit3/status/… will keep tracking, we have many more launches to come, with many things we can improve. data is essential.
