@PEoperator It is a strategy for mm value pe. In most cases multiple arbitrage alone beats any other value creation initiatives.

While there is some merit to scale and rollups getting premium multiples, this is not a sustainable approach. You have to know how to operate. Hope is not a strategy.

One of the items that needs to be attached to this ABS-15G form is "Findings and Conclusions of the Third Party Due Diligence Provider Obtained by the Issuer". For Carvana Auto Receivables Trust 2025-P1 (prime car loans package), Carvana engaged Deloitte to perform the Independent Accountant's Report. This document is public for everyone on SEC's website. Carvana Auto Receivables Trust 2025-P1 contains 24,964 car loans. Carvana sent a "Statistical Data File" to Deloitte containing 6,161 car loans, out of which Deloitte randomly selected 150 to audit. So 150 out of 24,964, means Deloitte audited 0.6% of the car loans packaged in Carvana's Auto Receivables Trust 2025-P1.

@STLChrisH I think this is generally wrong. Most PE VPs and associates have landed their dream jobs after doing their time in IB. PE turnover is extremely low. Maybe this applies more to those who have been passed over for promotions.

@KonstantinKisin @bariweiss it’s not like the US has been involved in every conflict around the world and provides significant financial and intelligence to other countries including Israel. The question is how successful has that been? But yeah lecture them on how your interests are important than theirs.
