@sudoingX 120k lines of bloat? so the community cut down 500k lines of bloat down to 120k...I'm surprised that's not a bookmarked post on someone's account! 😂😂

the concept is right. local models replacing API bills is the future and i've been saying this for months. but the stack recommendation here will frustrate you before you even get started. openclaw is 120K+ lines of typescript bloat that can't parse tool calls correctly on most local models. i've tested it extensively and have DMs from people whose "broken" models started working instantly after switching harnesses. the model was never the problem. the harness was. ollama is convenient but it wraps llama.cpp with overhead and worse defaults. if you want real performance compile llama.cpp from source with CUDA. i get 35 tok/s on qwen 27B dense on a single 3090 with 262K context. flat speed, zero degradation. ollama won't really give you that. the stack that actually works in march 2026 is llama.cpp compiled from source + hermes agent by nousresearch. per-model tool call parsers, fully open source, no corporation behind it mining your thinking, and the fastest growing agent community in local AI right now. don't let a pretty landing page choose your tools. test them yourself. the receipts are on my timeline.
0xMarioNawfal@RoundtableSpace

OPENCLAW + OLLAMA CAN NOW REPLACE YOUR AI API BILL WITH LOCAL AGENTS RUNNING ON YOUR OWN COMPUTER. No cloud servers, no sneaky API costs, and your private data stays on your machine.

@boringmarketer This was always the outcome. It's why no company was going to "buy" it and he got himself a great job. OAI wanted it for marketing. It's just an amalgamation workflow of cron jobs and vector rag. Try Hermes if you really feel you dont want to just use CC😂

anyone feel themselves using openclaw a bit less lately? personally I feel like it’s memory is not great and it’s tool use even with skills is not close to claude code I like it for quick on the go things but it’s not a workhorse for me by any means at this point

@CachyOS @LundukeJournal Appreciate you taking the time to add further clarification. It does the whole discussion and community a disservice when people resort to ad hominem attacks meant to dissuade further discussion of a topic.

CachyOS is now blaming their censorship of users opposed to Age Verification… on all of you, “[Lunduke’s] masses of racist radicals”. Not just regular “racist radicals”… but time traveling “racist radicals”. Several Days Ago: CachyOS made a bizarre statement, calling opponents to Age Verification “radicals”. They then quickly censored every comment and thread where users expressed concern about the possibility of Age Verification in CachyOS. Yesterday: The Lunduke Journal reported on CachyOS for the first time. Today: CachyOS team says that “Lunduke lead his masses of racist radicals” to travel back in time to force CachyOS to censor users. They didn’t want to censor their users who oppose Age Verification! Honest! It was those pesky Time Traveling Racist Radicals! discuss.cachyos.org/t/age-verifica…

Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Don't Know Not overly earth shattering but a fun read about understanding preconceived biases and how to approach a world where we are constantly interacting with things outside of our expertise. Took it on a flight, it's not a hard read.

Just to clear this all up, this is not remotely transformative and not fair use. You can click the little AI button in the top right there and it'll tell you why. Or you can ask a real lawyer. Regardless, if anyone was allowed to copy pasta anyone's IP and "just pay for my time" we'd all be buying Nike shoes with Charmander on them from Walmart for $3 "it was made by hand by a guy in Indonesia you're paying for his time! It's transformative!" In short, it's not transformative and this is what's called 'unlicensed merchandise' there's a reason all licnesed IP products cost a lot. Source: I own copyrights and TMs relating to physical products in multiple countries including China.

Ask claude to enable verbose mode if you want to see more. If a lot of people want more info for perplexity, we could also show details by default for it or make it configurable. As conversations get longer, we want to give you the info you need while hiding info you don’t need — it’s a tricky balance to get right and we need your input.

The value of being on these platforms would be the advertising. Since it's on a platform like Buyee that is used by lots of international buyers/sellers, you are opening up your storefront to them. Any item that you sell through Buyee, I would also include inside of the package a discount back to your website. My recommendation is to treat your purchases you get from customers on Buyee as a primary advertising strategy and place inside each packet you send to Buyee, a discount of 15% off on your next purchase to your direct website. But make the discount on a specific category that is complimentary to what the user bought. This is what I used to do for one of my brands I had. We had a travel luggage brand that I started in 2015 and we listed on eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Walmart .com and then we had our own website. Every order had discounts in it to bring you back to our primary website where we had better margins. We listed on those sites because different types of customers will search on different websites and this allowed us to expose our brand to as many different types of customers as we could. Not all of them did well and that's okay when you keep in mind, these platforms you're using as advertising platforms. I would recommend to start small and just try Buyee whenever you feel you are ready. I've personally used Buyee quite a bit and I've had some sellers put in their contact information to buy direct from them. marketing.beecruise.co.jp/documents/docu…

Yep, Composer 2 started from an open-source base! We will do full pretraining in the future. Only ~1/4 of the compute spent on the final model came from the base, the rest is from our training. This is why evals are very different. And yes, we are following the license through our inference partner terms.
Fynn@fynnso

was messing with the OpenAI base URL in Cursor and caught this accounts/anysphere/models/kimi-k2p5-rl-0317-s515-fast so composer 2 is just Kimi K2.5 with RL at least rename the model ID

No single point of verification whether it's currently classified as attestation can be accepted, ever, period. Once it is in, it will only get worse. It's not a fallacy if it continues to happen. It's reality. If you allow any form of verification to proliferate, you will one day end up having your govt ID attached to accessing the internet. What happens when a different group of people are in power and amend the bill differently? You know what you can't amend? A bill that doesn't exist. That should be the goal. Not hoping for meaningless carve outs.

Update on the Colorado Age Attestation bill: Everyone that participated in the meeting last week submitted proposed changes to the bill. They included good ideas to improve consumer protection and privacy and exempting open source software. Sen. Ball responded this morning that they'll now draft potential amendments. I think we're making good progress. I'm off for a ski weekend with the kids. Have a great weekend everyone!

This isn't really "agents hiring humans", this is a company creating bots to spam manual scanning tasks the company didn't think was possible at scale until now. Using agents is just the workflow, it's not like the agents are sentient or doing anything other than what they are told.

DoorDash is laying the groundwork for a crazy move here. Agents will be able to 'hire' humans to do tasks for them in the real world. And this will collect insane amounts of training data for robotics. Kind of genius, kind of terrifying.
Andy Fang@andyfang

Introducing Dasher Tasks Dashers can now get paid to do general tasks. We think this will be huge for building the frontier of physical intelligence. Look forward to seeing where this goes!

Saying what many of us have been saying since people started losing their minds about a chat bot attached to a dozen random APIs. You can just build your own and it's going to get easier and easier to do.
Burke Holland@burkeholland

You can legit build your own @openclaw from scratch in about 20 minutes with the @GitHub Copilot SDK. And when you build it, you can make it do anything. Here's how to build a personal AI assistant, and how I'm using one today.

OpenClaw Memelord skill is officially live. You can now use Memelord's trending memes and video templates to: - Generate AI memes and videos (that are both funny and hyper-trending) - Edit captions for *both* memes and videos just by replying What can you do with this? The use cases for the OpenClaw Memelord skill are infinite: - Set a cron job cook up on-brand memes for your marketing team - Toss it in a n8n workflow for TikTok slideshows - Put your claw in a group chat with your community - Sync it with @polymarket's API to make new memes for new markets - Plug into NCAA data to make memes for March Madness - Link up with @Quartr_App API to make new memes for quarterly reports - Connect to GitHub or @Linear to market your new features A lot of people asked me "Why'd you raise $3M for a meme editor?" This is why. The future of memeing is agentic. We achieved Memetic General Intelligence internally earlier this year making hilarious AI memes. Now we can share it with the world. It's time to take your memes more seriously.
