@Richie__301 @foxnewspolitics Visa holders are explicitly listed as non-immigrant status. Their visa also comes with an expiration date & they agreed to leave upon that date in order to get approved for the visa. If they don’t leave, then they’ve lied on their visa application, committing fraud.

Yo, I’ve been seeing a TON of this ignorant hate lately. People dragging Indians for “not serving in the US military.” Are you fucking kidding me?! Why the hell would we waste America’s TOP MINDS on the front lines getting blown up?! Indians built Silicon Valley, run half the tech giants, dominate medicine, engineering, and innovation. We’re the ones coding the drones, designing the weapons systems, keeping the economy humming so this country can even AFFORD a military. We’re doctors saving your asses in hospitals, not cannon fodder in some desert. You want bodies? Go recruit from the groups that aren’t carrying the GDP on their backs. Stop the racist cope. I visited the men and women suffering in ICE detention at Delaney Hall earlier this year, and I was shocked by the conditions they told me they had to endure. I am disgusted that these conditions only continue to worsen for detainees. People are languishing without knowing if they’ll have enough to eat or if they’ll be able to receive medical care if they get sick. This is in addition to ICE’s indiscriminate actions in our neighborhoods and communities. It’s a cruel, coordinated campaign, and it’s a disgrace. Delaney Hall cannot continue to generate profit on the back of horrendous human suffering. I stand firmly in support of the brave detainees inside the facility—and the protesters outside—who are standing up for what’s right. I will continue to call for accountability and carry out oversight of this facility.

The people you call “replacements” are often the same people teaching American students, training researchers, building startups, creating jobs, and sharing knowledge that helps the U.S. stay ahead! This has never been a one-way process. America benefited from attracting global talent, and many Americans benefited from working with them too. Don’t be blindsided into thinking every skilled immigrant is here to replace someone. Many are here to build, teach, innovate, and contribute.

I came to the US as a student and married a US citizen who sponsored me for a Green Card. If we had done so under this new rule it appears we would have had to separate ourselves for an indefinite period. This administration can't stop tearing families apart and is anti-love
