@Priceyt @johnson6672 @HelenSpeedyWebb @_munimula_ @UKMTB_Chat @Absolutemtb1 I can descend quicker but also through windy technical sections you can really carve the bike through a lot smoother thus saving time therefore the weight penalty is a non-factor for how much it will actually affect you on a climb

I race XC on in most of them I will go for a normal post as a lot of them are 'flat' so the time trying to drop a dropper and raise it aren't necessarily efficient. There are xc races where a dropper has been invaluable
