South Carolina, where the first shot of the civil war was fired, where 40 percent of those enslaved came through the Charleston port, is today engaged in an ugly recidivism to draw maps that will deny a Black person the chance to serve in Congress. The stakes could not be higher. Our political fight is not on a playground, but a moral battleground. We must stand for Black representation across the South.

@RoKhanna Stay away from the Constitution. If the court is "morally bankrupt" why have >50% of the cases in this term been decided on a unanimous or 8-1 margin? You have other recourse if you don't like their decisions: legislative action or the ballot box...it's hard for a reason Ro!

This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand. Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.

Unlike GOP-led states that redrew their congressional maps in backroom deals, Virginia let the people decide. But the Virginia Supreme Court has blocked the people’s choice. So we have to campaign and win on their maps. We can do it!
