Digitalisierung in Deutschland 😬

Cardiologist wins 3rd place at Anthropic's hackathon. Out of 13,000 applications. Built in 7 days by Michał Nedoszytko MD. Coded day and night - in the hospital, in the cloud, while flying from Brussels to San Francisco. A few years ago, it would have been impossible for a doctor to build this alone in just a couple of days. AI changed that. The project is called postvisit.ai. It is an AI agentic care platform for patients. Including reverse AI scribe it is a companion that guides the patient from the moment they leave the doctor's office. Powered by the massive context window of Opus 4.6, it allows patients to explore their full medical history, connected devices, Evidence Based resources and external data sources — all in one place. Today, the barrier to entry has vanished; even a practicing physician can build an application from scratch.

The dark „empty“ circles are the actual plasma. It’s so hot that it radiates energy far outside the visible spectrum, mostly X-ray. All the colorful stuff around is the much cooler stuff that wouldn’t support fusion. As others commented the magnetic confinement shapes the plasma into a torus/„donut“.

@levelsio Ukraine shows that nuclear weapons are the only way Germany can protect itself. Countries that don't have nuclear weapons aren't real countries anymore, they are conditional countries only as long Trump or Putin (or their successors) feel like they should be.

Actually, it's even simpler: §86a StGB (use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations) and §129a/b StGB (support of terrorist organizations) This defines a very narrow set of things you shouldn't be saying at a protest or an event designed to propagate a political agenda. You can still use the phrases in educational, journalistic, and artistic contexts.

@Herseybosluk @Partisan_12 In germany there are simple rules, it is different than america where u can insult someone and it is free speech. In germany, if you insult someone on purpose like with that phrase which means to kill all the jews from the R to to the C - ofcourse it is forbidden.

@DrNeilStone Isn’t it the still current norm that former US presidents remain silent on all foreign policy matters even if they have a strong private opinion? They may make a statement at the request of the current POTUS, but I don’t know if that happened.

@WarMonitor3 Asking that Ukraine cede territory for peace is like blaming Poland for WW2 as Hitler had offered to accept Poland‘s territory peacefully before 9/1/1939 as well. It will also establish the new rule that all countries without nukes really only have conditional sovereignty…

@Verizon I have not had a working phone since this morning. I patiently waited many hours before going to a Verizon store. I was immediately intercepted at the door and informed that if I have a SOS only issue with my phone that there is nothing they can or will do for me. Worst service ever.

If this is real, @Target should be in real trouble. They are required to ensure a safe workplace for all their employees, especially minors. This does not look like a proper encounter with law enforcement consistent with targets policies. Just because the harm was done by a third party, @Target is not off the hook. Let’s wait for their official statement.

Greenland - As viewed from a proper map Why Greenland? Well because Moscow bases almost all of their strategic military assets on the Kola Peninsula next to Finland. This is where the Russian ICBM silos, submarine bases, and their strategic bombers are. If you look at the flight path (ballistic or powered) from Kola to anywhere on the lower 48, then everything goes over Greenland. Greenland is the theatre where any strategic exchange between Washington and Moscow is contested. If you want to intercept a ballistic missile, the best point to do so is at the apogee, at the top of the flight path. The shortest route for an interceptor to get to an apogee is from directly below the apogee. That’s where Greenland is. So, without stating what should happen here, this is **why** the Trump administration says they **need** Greenland for national security. The other thing that is happening is that the Northern Passage through the Arctic is opening up, and soon there will be Chinese cargo ships sailing through the Arctic to Rotterdam. It’s faster than the Suez and the ships aren’t limited to Suezmax size so China and EU trade is going to accelerate a lot. This means Chinese submarines will also be venturing under the Arctic into the Northern Atlantic, IF THEY AREN’T ALREADY DOING SO. Hence, the North East coast of Greenland serves not 1 but 2 critical strategic security objectives of US national security. If this wasn’t clear to you, please understand that the Mercator global map projection is for children and journalists only. It is not a useful guide to where any countries or territories actually are in the real world that we live in. No self respecting adult should be using Mercator for their worldview. Anyone saying “there must be some other secret reason for Trump being interested in Greenland” is a certified ignoramus.
