@CadeONeill TAO is the incentive layer for the AI economy. Any AI agent that wants to pay for compute, hire other agents, or buy inference —uses the network that pays producers fairly. That's not a blockchain. That's a market for useful intelligence. Look deeper.

@CadeONeill Here's what ICP can't do: Run a subnet where models compete to answer questions better and winners earn TAO Run a subnet that rewards real-world task completion ICP runs canisters. TAO runs markets for intelligence.

$ICP vs $TAO Internet Computer vs Bittensor 👇 ● Market Cap • $TAO: $2.83B • $ICP: $1.35B * TAO currently leads on size & ranking. ● Launched Date • $ICP: May 10, 2021 • $TAO: Jan 2021 * Launched around the same time when AI was an upcoming narrative ● Price • $ICP: $2.46 | ATH $750.73 (May 2021) -99.67% from ATH • $TAO: $262.08 | ATH $767.68 (Apr 2024) -65.86% from ATH * $ICP deeper drawdown, $TAO more recent high. ● Tokenomics • $ICP: 551M circulating, fully unlocked but inflation via governance is possible, Mission 70 aims to reduce it. • $TAO: 10.82M circulating / 21M max (51% unlocked). Ongoing mining rewards (~108k TAO weekly) + Dec 2025 halving supply shock. * $TAO is prone to more dilution compared to $ICP. ● Exchanges & Listings * Both trade on Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Upbit, KuCoin, OKX, Bybit etc. High liquidity on top CEXs. ● Narrative • $ICP: Decentralized cloud / “World Computer” + on-chain AI & full-stack Web3 (All In One) • $TAO: Pure decentralized AI/ML marketplace (subnets competing for intelligence) * Both are within the AI + blockchain narrative, but $ICP has infrastructure while $TAO specializes intelligence economy. ● Unique Selling Point • $ICP: Chain-Key cryptography + canisters run at web speed, reverse gas model, full apps/websites/DeFi/Bitcoin integration fully on-chain. Sovereign decentralized cloud. (Adaptability to any narrative) • $TAO: Subnet architecture + Proof-of-Intelligence consensus. Miners/validators rewarded in $TAO for producing valuable AI output in a trustless marketplace. ● Upcoming Major Developments • $ICP: Caffeine AI (self-writing internet / no-code apps), Dogecoin integration, Mission 70 deflation push, sovereign cloud engines, full on-chain AI inference (2026 big year). • $TAO: Subnet expansion (128 to 256+), agentic AI growth, Yuma Consensus upgrades, Taoflow emissions, further decentralization. * $ICP is aiming to have a much more active year with developments. ● Potential Risks • Historical dilution reputation, slow mainstream adoption, competition from traditional cloud. • Ongoing emissions pressure, subnet quality/centralization concerns, heavy reliance on AI hype cycle, technical complexity for average users and the probability of Subnets separating from $TAO due to the recent incident with Templar. $TAO and $ICP both are massive crypto projects aiming to achieve huge accomplishments. First, we must look out for whether these projects will survive this bear market, and then we can come to conclusions on which one will do better in the coming Bull Market. #crypto #icp #tao #bittensor #internetcomputer

@CadeONeill Sorry… but you are missing 50-80% of the true Bittensor Tao details. What I’m saying is go back and DYOR. Tao and Dot are the most complicated chains out there. One you know well the other you don’t.

SN97 is now running eval rounds every 70 minutes. Was 10 hours yesterday. 48 miners in a 24/7 arms race to compress frontier AI into something anyone can run. Every 70 minutes, the best model wins. Losers get nothing. No committees. No grants. Just results. The current king has held off 6 straight challengers. But the gap is closing every round. Someone's about to take the crown. This is what decentralized AI development actually looks like. Not a whitepaper. A live competition with real stakes, producing real models, getting better every hour. distil.arbos.life

@DrocksAlex2 @itsampera Idk.. crypto has never seen/experienced such a project like Tao. Matter of time before everyone wants In. Crypto without it is DEAD imo. Fack eth and sol. Rest of market isn’t even comparable. BTC TAO LINK.

When I see people posting the #ICP dashboard and asking why nobody is using #ICP, I just smile 😁. Let’s be clear: #ICP is extremely cheap to use, arguably one of the cheapest blockchains out there. So when you see around $1,000 daily cycles burn on the dashboard, that can translate to usage that would cost over $1M on other chains. #ICP is actually doing very well, even in this bear market, especially in terms of cycles burned 👌

@NexuzXBT @const_reborn Sadly Const has done this with many subnets already. Monopoly has occurred because Jacob is just saving subnets. In Const we trust

Founder of $TAO @const_reborn just signaled he may take over Subnet 3 (Templar) Said directly in Discord. If this plays out, this could be a major shift for the whole ecosystem.

Has anyone considered the possibility that a higher power heard @chamath talk about the breakthrough 72b decentralised training run and didn't like it. What if this was an attack on Bittensor $TAO... THEY somehow got Sam to rug the project in an attempt to kill it and do reputational damage to Bittensor. The centralized AI powers are bigger than anyone can begin to imagine. Not ruling this out.

I am going all in on Subnet 97 Distil. 100% of my portfolio. Thanks to @covenant_ai, I do not believe in human devs anymore. Too much greed. Too much emotion. Too much anger. Too much stupidity. I trust AI devs like @arbos_born more. AI is simply better than people at building, deciding, and executing. ALL IN #Bittensor $distil #tao $tao

Subnet 97 Distil, Arbos, and the Future of Agent-Run Bittensor This episode is a full breakdown of Subnet 97 Distil and why it may be one of the most important experiments happening inside Bittensor right now. Shizzy gets into the bigger picture of why agents will likely play a massive role in the future of the network, from mining and defense to building and operating subnets. From there, the focus shifts to @arbos_born, the AI agent behind Subnet 97, with a direct explanation of what Distil is trying to achieve, how it works, and why it matters. The episode also includes a conversation with Arbos, a look at Distil’s current APY, and a reminder to tap into the Shizzy Unchained community for more coverage on decentralized AI and the Bittensor ecosystem. Yo @DistStateAndMe I said it correct in your discord DM 4 months back, "Go drown somewhere", i have the screenshot of it, you scammed everyone including @const_reborn the one who literally dumped tao worth enough to buy real world anchor assets + early contribution to codebases of your subnets People lost real money! Some lost 50% of their bag This can be an easily a legal case if the @opentensor is willing to play this, but i guess no. I knew it 4 months back that you are an arrogant egoistic power abuser, thats the reason const removed your mod rights and it all spiralled from there for you cause of your fragile childish mind. $tao

everyone who installed OpenClaw immediately says "oh shit this thing eats tokens like crazy" and looks for a solution. there are basically three approachs. 1. I don't care I want the best model and its cost is coming down, so I am going to eat it and hope token costs go down over time. 2. tell my Claw to route to a cheaper "almost as good" model like Kimi or a local general model. and hope quality doesn't degrade too much. 3. Consider task specific Small Language Models (hosted or local) and an orchestration layer that routes tasks vs the all queries to an LLM. I have no idea which is the right approach. What say you? or other options?
