Congratulations Tesla Powerwall team!
These will make a big difference around the world. With a Powerwall, your home or business has guaranteed continuous power during utility blackouts or brownouts.
Add solar to your roof and/or nearby ground and you can operate off grid.
Add Starlink and you can operate your home with no wires at all!

Congrats to the Tesla Nevada team on building 1000 Powerwalls in a single day

@KagutaMuseveni So long as there is security, no excuses. Mzee has Consistently said so. 👏

Despite the challenges we face, including corruption and wealth distribution issues, Uganda is progressing. Our nation thrives on the ideology of the NRM, which promotes patriotism over tribal and religious identities.
If the youth of Uganda wish to make a real difference, I encourage them to study ideology and political economy. It is good that the youth leaders want to go to Kyankwanzi because it's in Kyankwanzi where they take them through the course on Political Economy.

Yesterday, I had a productive meeting in Entebbe with youth leaders brought to me by Col. Edith Nakalema. I emphasized the importance of engaging in wealth creation to combat unemployment effectively. The source of jobs lies in wealth creation, not solely in waiting for government positions. The government has only 470,000 jobs in the Public Service.
I also highlighted the distinction between development and wealth creation. Development, like roads, electricity, piped water, schools, and health centres, belongs to everybody. We always advise that what comes to the home is wealth, not development. When there's service provision like security in the country, the next important thing is wealth creation in your home.

@uk_nup @AnitahAmong The last time I checked, Britain/UK was a chief architect of slave trade and has NO MORAL authority to supretend over human rights violations. Please understand their dilemma.
English

The Speaker of Ugandan Parliament, Anita Annet Among @AnitahAmong, who recently boasted that she will never be intimidated by a foreign power and, that she is comfortable in her home town of Bukedia, where she would not need a visa, is expected to attend the 75th anniversary of the Commonwealth in the UK next month. Anita Among as she is commonly known, is responsible for enacting repressive laws in Uganda that undermines civil liberties and human rights, and @JamesCleverly @UKinUganda @ukhomeoffice should denny her entry to the UK. In Uganda political activists faced prosecution on politically motivated charges and hundreds of opposition activists remained behind bars on trumped up charges, and others have disappeared, murdered and killed. There is no freedom of speech or assembly and political prisoners are subject to torture and rape and abductions is rampant.
The UK government claims to care about human rights, rule of law and promotion of democracy, but when it comes to the Ugandan dictatorship of @KagutaMuseveni there is nothing but a shameful silence. The UK government should call on dictator @KagutaMuseveni @GovUganda @NRMOnline to end systematic human rights abuses and should subject the
perpetrators of abuses to targeted sanctions and banned from entering the UK. @UKParliament @10DowningStreet @FCDOGovUK @HouseofCommons @NUP_Ug @CommonsSpeaker @PeterTatchell @CommonsForeign @LindsayHoyle_MP @UKHouseofLords @David_Cameron @CPA_Secretariat @CHRI_UK @Kaleidoscope_T @commonwealthsec @StephenTwigg @RishiSunak @Keir_Starmer @AmnestyUK @guardian @TheEconomist @BBCAfrica @DavidLammy @PScotlandCSG @Parliament_Ug @newvisionwire @ubctvuganda @UgandaMediaCent @ChurchTimes @JustinWelby @kate_airey @AndrewmitchMP @UgandaMFA @UN_HRC @AsstSecStateAF @StateDept @EUinUG @EU_Commission @Europarl_EN

@GODFREY_Kutesa @Ratiph1 So whom do you want the girls to marry?
English

@Ratiph1 No: Boys after graduation must work and work and work and work and then marry.
.
English

If your parents haven’t told you, let me tell you:
After graduation: Get married, have children when your body is still strong enough then along the way let the job come.
The clock is ticking. After sometime, we won’t remember your graduation party but your children and family you’ve raised!!
